Aloha! We first came to Kihei for our honeymoon and completely fell in love with it. The warm breeze, the sunsets, the easy pace of life - it all just felt right. We knew we wanted to have a home here, somewhere in the heart of town where we could walk to local shops and restaurants, and spend our days by the beach. Over time, that dream became a reality.
Hosting in Maui has been a joy for our family. There's something really special about sharing this island with others. Whether it's your first visit or your tenth, Maui has a way of helping people slow down and enjoy the moment. We love hearing that our guests watched the sunrise from the lanai, took long beach walks, or discovered a new favorite café just down the road. Kihei is one of those places where life feels a little lighter. The weather is sunny and warm year-round, and the ocean is just steps away. Menehune Shores sits right on the beach, so you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves and start your day with a walk along the shoreline. One of the things we love most about this location is the protected kiddie beach in front of the complex. The water is calm and shallow, perfect for young children or anyone who just wants a peaceful swim.
The neighborhood has a relaxed, friendly vibe. You’re close to local shops, farmers markets, coffee spots, and some of our favorite places to eat. There’s even a restaurant right downstairs on the first floor, which makes grabbing a bite to eat especially easy after a long day in the sun. Whether you’re watching the sunset from the lawn, spotting turtles along the shore, or just enjoying the breeze on your lanai, Kihei invites you to slow down and enjoy the simple pleasures.

It’s an end unit, which means more privacy and less foot traffic outside your door. The building has elevator access, so getting in and out is easy for everyone.
