The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Trash can be stored in the outside shed. For the key, look for a magnetic box under the electrical box outside the front door. Trash is picked up every few weeks.
During summer, close the blinds. During winter, leave the blinds open and make sure all electric heaters are unplugged and gas heaters are turned to their lowest settings.
Please note that there is usually a fire ban for this area. Cleaners will properly dispose of fireplace ashes. If you use wood, please contact owners so the $50 charge can be applied to your account.

We had a relaxing and comfortable stay for the Thanksgiving holiday. Host provided clear instructions and cabin had all the comforts of home in a beautiful outdoor setting. If we are fortunate enough to visit Taos again, we will definitely be booking this cabin again!

Cute cabin!

We enjoyed our stay at this cute cabin! We were in town from out of state to ski at Sipapu and couldnt have asked for a better place! Would definitely stay again.

Booked this property and it was a prime location for everything, close to the mountains and rivers and at the same time only a few miles to town and great eating places. The host was quick to respond to questions.

Great stay!

Had a really fun time at this rental the property and house was beautiful and the owner was very communicative and helpful when my friend lost his wallet she did a great job at putting our mind at ease while the search was on. All and all a great stay. ^_^

My wife and I and two teens stayed at this spacious and clean cabin. There are two bedroom areas in the upper loft mezzanine with an upper outside deck. There are bunk beds in the basement. the main bedroom is on the ground floor off the living room. All very nice.From the large living room windows, the pine trees provided privacy and views of the distant mountains in Carson National Park.We really like the location because it allowed us to travel to the Rio Grande Riverto fish and raft, to Angel Fire, to go along highway 518 (high road) for stream fishing and then to the town center of Taos.The owners have very good taste in furniture and in artwork. Some really great pieces. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen must have been newly remodeled, with great cabinet space and countertops. The appliances were all stainless steel and new as well. We did use the washer and dryer once. All good.Outside is a L-shaped deck had plenty of seating, a dining table and a propane gas grill. We cooked our first night there grilling steaks. Excellent. Highly recommend staying here.Thanks for sharing your property.

Mountain getaway

This cabin is hidden away and perfect for a secluded getaway. Not being from the area we had to get used to the minerals in the water, but otherwise its close to Taos and lots of things to do. We had three generations there and everyone was satisfied.
