The farmhouse was excellent, with plenty of space inside and outside. We made guacamole in the spacious kitchen, made s’mores at the fire ring, and enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. It was also a beautiful place to take my daughter’s graduation photos. The close proximity to the main sites of the Hocking Hills area made it a great base camp for our hiking outings. Great place for a great price! We really appreciated the prompt and friendly communication with the host. We would love to go back!

Our group of three families had a fantastic time here. The layout of the house offered plenty of space for everyone to gather without feeling crowded. The dining area was large enough for our shared meals. The hot tub was a bonus and was great after a long day of hiking. Thank you for being such a thoughtful host!

Our family of 9 had the best weekend here. We love to take a trip every year together and this house allowed us to have enough space to come together but also enough space for us to separate. We definitely will be renting again. Only issue we really had was the wasps nest near the grill and hot tub, we did make owners aware and received communication quickly from them. This did not stop our fun :) 10 out of 10 recommend.

Very nice place

The place was really nice over all. It perfectly accommodated our small group and everything went smoothly. We enjoyed our stay it was very relaxing! The WiFi worked wonders as there is no service miles in the area. A beautiful place.

Perfect location for Hocking Hills

Great location that was close to Ash Cave and Old Man’s Cave. Our 3 generations had plenty of space to enjoy our weekend. House is easy to find and was very private. Plenty of bedrooms and baths with a large dining table for all of us. We look forward to coming back.

Fantastic stay!

Excellent stay in Hocking Hills. The location was a beautiful property. The home was updated and well stocked with everything you could need. A 15-20 minute drive to hiking in Hocking Hills and McArthur was an easy drive for groceries. I would return to this property. Hosts also provided great communication.

Just what we needed

We wanted somewhere where we could enjoy time together away from the business of everything. This property was the perfect location. A great wrap around porch and perfect fire pit. The hot tub was a nice way to end the days. The kitchen was well stocked and communication with the owner was excellent. Would definitely recommend for your consideration.

Beautiful farmhouse

We had an amazing time. We were a large group with small children, and they never wanted to leave the house! It has a creek, an incredible hot tub with colored lights, even arcade games. They were in heaven. Absolutely recommend!

As advertised! Clean and accommodating. Wonderful stay for our family. We love the video game set up and outdoor space. The only recommendation i would have would be to allow the A/C to stay blowing cool air throughout the night. Several people complained about how hot it got in the middle of the night. Other than that...perfect.

A Peaceful Retreat

What a great place! Plenty of comfortable seating, a well equipped kitchen and a layout that allowed for times of togetherness and space to enjoy solitude. The bedrooms are very large with comfortable beds and we appreciated the 3 full bathrooms. The owners pay attention to details and this house shows it. The hot tub and fire pit were an added bonus that our group thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful location and property.

The house itself is very spacious, on a big piece of property. We had 3 generations under one roof and it was great for young and old. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. At night my kids loved catching fire flies on the property and playing in the creek. The location was great for day trips to Hocking Hills state park. There were a few minor things that could be better - one of which is that there is no shampoo or conditioner or blow dryers were supplied, which obviously was not a deal breaker but is pretty standard for rental properties. I would suggest bringing drinking water as the water there has a strong sulfur smell and taste. Overall it is a great place to unwind and relax with your family and friends

Thank you for the great review, Emily! We're so glad you all enjoyed the property. Regarding water quality, we have a Kinetico filtration system at the property which provides the quality of drinking water you have in the city. Guests do not need to bring their own water. I believe you are referring to the outdoor spigots that you used to fill up a toddler pool during your stay. The outdoor spigots are not connected to the filtration system and would have more of the well water taste you are referring to.

Farm house

We stayed here for a weekend with another family, 4 adults, 8 kids. The space is plenty big and very clean. They have the basics for sure. Make sure to bring the items they recommend. The location is good in regards to being close to popular Hocking hills locations. There is one small grocery store nearby, but if you’re expecting a Kroger/walmart style it’s def not that so bring what you need. We went in middle of June, and obviously we are in the middle of woods, so as semi expected there were lots of ticks around (even in the hot tub) so be aware (one guest had one on him). The fire pit was very nice but bring wood. Beds were comfy. Water was good. Showers were great. Beautiful overall property. OH one thing to definitely mention is there was no phone service at all here. The WIFI worked great so that helps a lot at the house but there are plenty of areas around hocking hills that don’t have cell reception so be prepared. I WOULD definitely recommend this location for any family or groups. Overall great experience.

Such a beautiful property! The house had just about everything we needed and all of the space and bathrooms were greatly appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning coffee on the peaceful front porch and watching the bats and a fox while sitting in the hot tub at night. The kids had a blast with the bunk bed and pac man. We hope the house is available the next time we visit!

Perfect Experience

My wife and I decided to take our three young boys (4, 2 and 4 months) on a quick vacation. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The house sits on a large property with tons of room for the little ones to run around. The house itself was spacious, updated, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect too. Just minutes from the state parks and typical hocking hills venues. In addition, the owner was quick to respond, kind and courteous. Really dont have a bad thing to say or complain about. Overall, it was a great experience and would absolutely do it again.
