Amazing treehouse tucked in a beautiful community with the most beautiful backdrop. Would stay here a million times over. Convenient to the grocery store, delicious coffee and the quaint downtown area of Black Mtn. Can’t wait to come back!
Lovely treehouse cottage with amazing views! It was clean, comfortable and well appointed with little extras that make for a pleasant stay. Great location with easy access to Black Mountain and other areas. Jessica communicated quickly and I highly recommend this property. We would welcome the opportunity to stay again. I’m sure the fall view with leaves in color is stunning.
Perfect location for staying in Black Mountain, it couldn’t be more convenient yet tucked away in a lovely neighborhood with restaurants and a small store where we bought fresh salmon to grill on the Weber grill. The house is just as it looks in the photos and Jessica, the owner, was extremely prompt in responding and offering helpful suggestions for the area. You’ll really enjoy this house!
We had a great time at Sourwood in Cheshire. The house was perfect for our family of four. Clean, comfortable, and conveniently located to restaurants, shopping, and hiking. I highly recommend this place!
Amazing home! Well stocked, cozy and nicely decorated. Great location for walking around the neighborhood with our kids and dogs. Convenient to downtown Black Mountain, as well. We would definitely recommend and hope to come back soon! Thank you!
We had an absolutely wonderful time at Sourwood Treehouse. Jessica was incredibly responsive whenever I had a question. The house was beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. And, how can you not love getting out for long walks in the Village of Cheshire and neighboring park.
What an adorable place! The owners thought of everything!...even decorated so nicely for the holidays. And the little village of Cheshire is so nice! Booking process and communication with owners was so easy and they were so helpful! Loved every single thing here!

Thank you Susan for your kind review; we appreciate it! We're glad you enjoyed our decorations and charming Cheshire!
Everything about this community is simply perfect. So glad we opted to stay in the Village as opposed to Asheville. Super quaint and so close to everything. Great trails for walking too. the house was SO comfy and just as pictured. Already planning to come back! Hosts were great and very responsive, even had the home ready a couple hours ahead of time. 1000% recommend!

Thank you Jennifer! We're so glad you enjoyed your stay; we would love to host you on a return trip!
Very cute community. A little hard to find, had to rely on the picture. Community restaurants closed on Tuesdays or after 8. Communications with host perfect. Very close to Black Mountain.
House was so nice. Beautifully furnished and even decorated for Christmas including a decorated tree. Owner left a nice welcome basket for us, and had lights already turned on for our arrival. The house was neat, clean, and very well equipped.
This owner clearly went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. A great family weekend - thank you!

Thank you Lisa; we appreciate you! We're glad you enjoyed our decorations too!
Such a cute treehouse! And the neighborhood is phenomenal! We enjoyed morning coffee on the upper deck off of the primary bedroom and sunsets from the main deck! The neighborhood trails, store, and restaurants were lovely and so convenient! Access to downtown Black Mountain was easy and everything was within a mile or two. We loved our week here and hope to return again next year!
Wonderful place! The master bedroom is the whole third floor with a private balcony for morning coffee. Close drive for site seeing, hiking and eating out. We ate in and used the beautiful gas range most of the time. Enough space to spread out out but still lots of togetherness for our family.
