The house is great. The layout is nice and it is SUPER close to Parris Island for our Marines graduation from boot camp! If they are available will stay again in August when our other son is set to graduate boot camp.
Location! Location! Location! Minutes to Parris Island made it super convenient to go on and off base. Host was very responsive. House had all the amenities! Great place!
The house was beautiful! It had a nice size backyard but didn’t go out there because of the grass being over grown. The house was in a great location, right in town but in an area where you didn’t think you were in the middle of town. We had a great time on our weekend trip to Port Royal, SC.
Property is nicely decorated. Beds were very comfortable! It was dark when we arrived and not well lit to see the keypad at the front door. Communication could be improved. I would rate this a 4.5 out of 5!

Our stay was ok. However, the toilet in the master was broken the whole 4 days we were there. Also, the trash from the previous guests were left in the driveway and out back (a lot of it). The air hockey game and pool table were unusable. We were excited to have games to play and then disappointed that they didn't work.
Everything was amazing! We fixed our Marine a picnic lunch for family day. So yes we made good use of the kitchen, dinners cooked every night. Which gave us all the home away from home. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep. Most comfortable beds!!
Any time we do family trips we rent houses so we don't have to be cramped into tiny hotel rooms, as we have 5 children (adults) catching up is always great when we can all be in one place. Thank you for sharing this little piece of your life with us! SEMPER FI
This was a great 4 day weekend family trip. The property was great and the house was beautifully updated and very contemporary. There were 9 of us on this trip. One person had to sleep on the couch. Very convenient to Beaufort and is only a 10 minute drive. Grocery store and drug store very close. About an hour drive to Hilton Head and about an hour drive to Savannah. Sands beach is not a real beach but still enjoyed going there and seeing the crabs. Absolutely loved the Cypress Wetlands and the birds, turtles and alligators. Great pizza place called 4 Islands Pizza close by The Community Beer Garden is next to Sands beach and there was a really good local band playing there on Saturday nights. We really enjoyed our whole experience at this property. Highly recommend staying here. The only downside, there is a gas grill outside that we would have loved to use but there was so much grease on the bottom so we couldn’t use it to cook. Other than that, we had a fabulous stay and would stay here again.
We stood with my brother’s family (4 adults and 7 kids) and there was more than enough room for us. Home is freshly remodeled and was a nice spot to come back to after being out for the day. Close proximity to downtown Beaufort and a manageable drive to Hunting Island State Park.
