A beautiful, spacious flat in a 500 year old former farmhouse - something very special. Enjoy low-key luxury with perfect internet access, sauna, hot tub, and a fire pit in the 2000 sq. m (half-acre) garden for a relaxing barbecue.

The space

Relax in our newly renovated 150 sq. m (1600 sq. ft) flat where the charm of 200 year old beams and exposed brickwork is combined with modern bathrooms, a new kitchen, lots of space and blazing 50MBit internet access.

The flat has 3.5 bedrooms for 6-7 people, each with a large closet. A new Nolte kitchen features an induction stove, dishwasher and Senseo coffee machine. If it’s cold outside, warm up with a cozy fire in the wood stove.

The half-acre (2000 sq. m) garden, with its lovely old fruit trees, Sauna and fire pit invites you to kick back and unwind, barbecue, enjoy life. For rainy days we provide Netflix so you can chill with your favorite TV shows.

In case you cannot play all the time, the super-fast wifi is even available in the garden. Sitting by the fire with your laptop is a completely new definition of “work”.

The location is perfect for excursions e.g.:

- Take the kids to the Skyline Amusement park (2 min) or Legoland (40 min)
- Pamper yourself at the thermal baths of Bad Wörishofen where Sebastian Kneipp perfected his hydrotherapy method (5 mins)
- Visit Munich for shopping and sightseeing (45 min)
- Hike in the Allgäu (Breitachklamm)
- Tour the Bavarian castles of Neuschwanstein / Hohenschwangau (1 h) or Linderhof (1:15h)

Rammingen is a village with a number of working farms. The upside is that you get to see real German farming and the downside is … you get to see real German farming. This means there may be some noise as farm equipment (tractors and such) go by on the street, and your nose will on occasion let you know that horses do indeed live nearby.

We have a nice sauna and a fire pit in the garden. Feel free to use them all.

A couple more details:

- If you want to use the fire pit for barbecue, go right ahead. Wood is included.

- You can use the sauna any time, free of charge. If you want to have it all to yourselves, just let us know.

Other things to note

Please be aware that Rammingen is a very small village outside of Munich. There is not much going on here besides some farming activity and a couple of really nice beergardens. Don't expect to much - you'll need a car. There are plenty of nice sights around but the village itself is... well... a village ;)

Perfekte Unterkunft für mehrere Personen

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in der Ferienwohnung. Die Wohnung ist durch die alten Balken und den Kamin sehr gemütlich und modern zugleich (vor allem die Bäder). Es ist wirklich alles da, was man in einer Ferienwohnung braucht. Da die Wohnung sehr groß ist, hat man genügend Privatsphäre und kann sehr gut mit mehreren Erwachsenen ein paar Tage zusammen verbringen. Die Sauna und die Scheune mit Grill, Dartscheibe und Tischtennisplatte runden alles perfekt ab. Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen!

Einfach hervorragend

Die Ferienwohnung ist wirklich sehr schön, geräumig und großzügig! Wir waren 3 Pärchen und wir haben uns auf Anhieb sehr wohl gefühlt. Die drei DZ sind sehr groß, die beiden Bäder ideal für 6 Personen. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet, zum Grillen ist auch alles vorhanden. Wir konnten die offene Feuerstelle nutzen, was einen sehr gemütlichen Abend ermöglichte. Die Sauna ist zwar klein, aber vollkommen ausreichend. Wir können die Wohnung mit bestem Gewissen weiter empfehlen. Vielen Dank, Rolf!

Direkter und umfänglicher Kontakt mit Vermieter. Überaus feundliche und kompetente Beratung. Grosse, sehr gemütliche Wohnung mit unglaublicher Vollaustattung. KFZ ist Voraussetzung, um das Voralpenland inkl. München zu entdecken. Minimaler Mangel: Auf Gäste in der Wohnung darüber achten bzw. mit Ihnen abstimmen (Lautstärke und Hellhörigkeit). Idylle auf dem Land

Wir haben am Pfingstwochenende einen wunderbaren Familienurlaub in Rammingen verbracht. Unser Vermieter Rolf hat uns herzlich empfangen. Die Ferienwohnung und das riesige Grundstück sind extrem familienfreundlich, große und kleine Kinder können dort ihren Spaß haben. Die Wohnung und auch der tolle Garten sind in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand und es macht Spaß dort zu verweilen und einen gemütlichen Abend am Grill zu verbringen. Die Wohnung ist extrem gut ausgestattet: Kaffee, Gewürze, viel Geschirr und Küchenutensilien, Waschmaschine u.s.w. Im Ort ist ein kleiner Bäcker, der uns auch am Wochenende mit frischen Brötchen versorgt hat. Wir hatten tolle Gespräche mit Rolf, er hat uns viel über die Gegend und mögliche Ausflugsziele berichtet. Dieser Ort ist unbedingt zu empfehlen für Familien oder Freundesgruppen. Wir würden immer gern wieder zurück kommen.

Schönes Appartement für Familien

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und wurden von Herrn Jankowfsky sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Apartment ist sehr geräumig und sauber, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Das Wohnzimmer mit zwei Sofas und Kamin ist sehr gemütlich.

Super Aufenthalt und toller Gastgeber

Wir, 6 Personen, haben uns hier für fünf Tage eingenistet und im Prinzip die Wohnung gar nicht verlassen. Alles was man braucht is da: Es gibt einen gemütlichen Ofen für Abends, die Zimmer sind groß und weitläufig, die Küche ist top ausgestattet und alles ist sauber. Der Wohnbereich ist groß genug und verfügt über einen großen Tisch, auf dem alles seinen Platz findet. Der Gastgeber war super freundlich, hat uns sogar ein Paket angenommen, das wir spontan bestellt hatten. Alles in allem top, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Absolut empfehlenswertes Objekt

Es war sehr schön und erholsam. Die Wohnung ist super und es war alles da. Wir haben schon öfters Ferienwohnungen gebucht und waren absolut positiv überrascht. Toller Urlaub auf dem Land

Wir haben einen wirklich schönen Urlaub gehabt. Die Wohnung war sauber und die Lage ist ruhig und ländlich. Mit den Kindern konnten wir viel unternehmen und erkunden. Es hat allerdings an Kleinigkeiten gefehlt, die uns bei früheren Nachfragen sicher zur Verfügung gestellt worden wären. Der Vermieter war sehr nett. Man sollte allerdings genauer hervorheben, dass man hier nicht allein wohnt. Über uns wohnten weitere Gäste, das hat man leider sehr oft gehört, besonders ärgerlich abends, wenn die Kinder schlafen wollten. Alles in allem war es aber schön in Rammingen.

Wir hatten kurzfristig gebucht und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Im Garten Grillen und das darauf folgende, ausgiebige Lagerfeuer standen in nichts nach. Die Wohnung war ideal. Eine wunderschöne, liebevoll und sehr umfassend eingerichtete Wohnung, in der es an nichts fehlt. Sie eignet sich sehr gut, um mit 2 Familien Urlaub zu machen. Tolle Wohnung

Die großzügige und sehr saubere Wohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen, rustikal und modern zugleich. Die Ausstattung ist prima, alles reichlich vorhanden, unter anderem auch Waschmaschine und Trockner. Die Wohnung liegt in einem ruhigen Ort, was uns sehr wichtig ist und trotzdem nah an der Autobahn, sodass wir zügig zu unseren Zielen kamen. Die Lage ist toll, man kann nach München, Augsburg, Ulm, aber auch in die Berge, an den Bodensee ...wir haben sehr viel unternommen und hatten abends unsere Ruhe.Im Ort haben wir den Biergarten in derselben Straße mehrmals besucht, er ist sehr zu empfehlen...gutes Essen und freundliche Mitarbeiter. Insgesamt sind wir rundum zufrieden.

Why they chose this property

Since many years our dream has been a old Farmhouse but with all the luxury we are used from the city. When we found this place we felt in love immediately - the 3000 sqm garden with trees who are hundreds of years old, the location and the house itself convinced us. We renovated around 2 years to get the building up to modern standards without destroying the 500 year old heritage.

What makes this property unique

Castel Neuschwanstein. Lake Constanz, the romantic road and Munich - everything is nearby and can be easily reached within an hour.
