Great house, lots of space

The house had lots of space inside, as well as in the backyard and large outdoor deck. An ideal place for a large group in Lake Tahoe. It was great, with only 2 small downsides: It only had 3 usable parking spots, instead of the 4 it listed, and there is no AC, but luckily the weather was great and we didn't need it.

Red flag in cleanliness

Not recommended. You can find lots of hair on bed sheet. The bathroom won’t lock. Mice spotted in the utility room. Stairs squeak and interrupt my sleep!

Nice dog friendly cabin

So this cabin is all the everyone has said. Yes it is an older house and it creaks a bit and you can hear people walking above you (living room and kitchen) when you are in the bedrooms on the lower level but it is in good shape and fit our two families of 4 very nicely. We loved the long dining room table and the working fireplace in the living room. We loved that they allow dogs. The house is right near river road so easy to get in and out from tahoe City and the local resorts. The kitchen is well equipped. I wish they had washcloths and Kleenex tissue.

Great weekend stay!

Late night arrival was welcomed with the string lights in the trees along the walkway. Much appreciated. It is a comfortable cabin and our family enjoyed the great room and fireplace. We hope to rent again.

Amazing Getaway

The home was beautiful, comfortable, and felt magical. My only suggestion would be to be careful coming while it’s actively snowing as this house is up a pretty steep hill. We had some difficulties going up the hill in the snow, but the home was incredible.

Photos are deceiving - not what it looks like

A little disappointing of a place, even though the location is prime. The cabin is old and dilapidated. Everything squeaks and is barely hanging on (switches, towel holders, door knobs etc) Filthy place full of spider webs and minimal quick cleaning right before our arrival. Broken windows screens and no locks on the doors. It took me 20 mins to figure out how to turn on the TV. Horrible outdated electronics. This place is a sham. Totally not worth the money I paid. Caveat Emptor: Look very closely At the photos.
