"Hofhaus": Cozy little house with Mediterranean courtyard & garden in Mainz

Beautiful, centrally located in Mainz-Finther town center holiday home with living area and open kitchen on the ground floor and bathroom (with bath and washing machine) and wooden floor bedroom on the first floor. The property also includes a beautiful, large, Mediterranean courtyard with quality of stay and a huge garden, both of which may of course be used.

The house can be reached by car from the A60 in 3 minutes, from Frankfurt Airport in 23 minutes and from Mainz City in 11 minutes by bus. The central location of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, doctors, pharmacies, beautiful playgrounds and various supermarkets and shops are within walking distance in a few minutes, the stadium of Mainz 05 and the university campus are quite close.

The house is newly furnished and has a modern, open kitchen on the ground floor. Despite the central location is the pompous alley in which the Hofreite is very quiet and little traffic.

The farmhouse is part of a dreamlike Hofreite (with former stables, house, barn, large yard and huge orchard) in the old town of Mainz-Finthen, the beautiful district of the state capital of Rhineland-Palatinate. During the energetic refurbishment of the former farm building built around 1890, we placed great emphasis on ecology and sustainability: the building is heated by a pellet heating system, the walls are painted with white bio-silicate paint, the wooden floorboards are oiled ( instead of lacquered), and the electricity comes from its own roof during the day.

Courtyard and garden

The sheltered garden, along which no roads lead along, with its fruit and flower meadows and lawns is a place for adults to relax and for children a large adventure playground including giant trampoline and a large, covered with quarry stone sandpit. There is also a fire pit for barbecues or "just-so-comfortable-sitting together". The garden can be used by all residents of the Hofreite.

Although it is very quiet in the yard and garden or on the entire property, the Hofreite is in the middle of the old town center.
