About this property

Your Smoky Mountain Cabin suite…In the heart of the Smokies. Dog friendly!

Take it easy and unwind at this tranquil, dog friendly, and truly beautiful getaway located in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Maggie Valley, Cataloochee Ski area, Harrah’s Casino Resort in Cherokee, and the picturesque town of Waynesville. Asheville and it’s regional airport is just 45 minutes away. Every modern convenience is available at the cabin’s rental suite, but with palpable rustic “mountain” charm. Included in this tastefully appointed first floor suite with it’s own private entrance is an open concept living room with cozy wood stove, kitchenette, bedroom with walk-in closet and a full, renovated bath. Guests access the cabin’s rental suite through french doors from a spacious, covered deck with comfortable seating, a gas grill, and amazing views of the property grounds and surrounding mountain vistas and pristine old growth forests. The living room sofa doubles as a sleeper bed, which along with the full bedroom allows for 4 guests to sleep comfortably. Other amenities include a well equipped kithenette with microwave, large air fryer oven, compact refrigerator, cook top, toaster, and Keurig coffee maker; a cozy wood stove with firewood provided by owners is available during the fall and winter months for supplemental heat. A well maintained hot tub, fire pit, recently upgraded free high-speed Wi-Fi, and large screen smartTV are also available to guests. The property surrounding the cabin is truly impressive, with old growth maples, hemlocks, oaks, Rhododendrons, with impressive mountain views. For fishermen, a beautiful trout stream is a quarter of a mile away. Interstate 40 is just three miles away and allows for quick and easy access to and from the cabin. Parking is free on the property and there is no cleaning fee. Dogs stay free of charge, and you can bring up to two dogs with no restrictions on weight or size! Owners/operators of the property are present at the cabin’s second floor residence and are available to guests to provide assistance as needed at the cabin, and as a helpful resource to better understand and appreciate the more desirable eating establishments in the area, points of interest, hiking trails, and must-see sites in and around the National Park, Blue Ridge Parkway, and surrounding area. You’ll want for nothing in this well appointed, spotlessly clean space in one of America’s most sought out vacation destinations!
