Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Valentina was a great host, with very good communication, and very obliging allowing us to park even after we have checked out. Would definitely stay again!
This listing has it all; a great host, a superb location, all amenities and general happy vibes. From the entrance, you can see the gondola in the background (it was magical as it was snowing), the property was clean and thoughtfully designed. We would definitely consider returning.
This unit was perfect! It had all we needed. Cleanliness is so important and it did not miss the mark. Additionally, we appreciated such clear communication. There was no question as for what to expect. Top notch! We're looking forward to when we can book again.
Clean! Great pull out couches for my teens. Walk to village. Everything you need the kitchen had! We will return.

Convenient location
Great location. Unfortunately the floors, kitchen and bathrooms looked like they had a very light/quick clean up. The kitchen isn't very well stocked so if you plan on cooking your own meals you will have to keep it simple. The location is great for ski in and out. From the parking lot its a quick block and a half walk down to the runs.
Valentina, the owner, responded to me in a timely manner. I had questions where to locate amenities and when we first arrived, the code to enter the property did not work. She was quick to respond and help us whenever needed! Place was great for a few guys getting away for a snowboard trip. This condo was a short walk away from the lifts at Northstar. About a 5 minute walk and then jump on your board/skis and you're instantly on the lift. Close proximity to the Northstar Village with all the shops and restaurants. Just a heads up everything closes around 9 pm. Parking was also fantastic, permit provided by owner, and we always found parking right in front of the condo. Hot tub is too far away from the condo, it's in the village. Which is too far a walk to be soaked and walking in winter. You can request a shuttle ride there, which is a great alternative. We ended up skipping the hot tub. Side note, this condo has one of the best heating systems in all of the places I've rented all over Tahoe. The condo warmed up quickly when we arrived and kept us toasty the whole trip.Overall excellent stay, location is great for quickly getting on the lifts and exploring the village. Highly recommended and saving this one for future visits! I almost forgot, Valentina had a bottle of red wine waiting for us when we arrived. Fantastic service!
Very nice place to stay. Beautiful and cozy. Very nice scenery and location.
Bed was like sleeping on concrete. It was so hard. I got terrible sleep!
The pool/ hot tub/ game room area, my family and I were not impressed. First off it’s $8 per a person no matter what age. Second the game rooms games barely has any proper working games. The hot tubs weren’t barely warm. Not very impressed with this area.
Overall that place that we stayed at was comfy. We would go back again if they get a little bit softer bed.
The property is even nicer in person than in the photos. I enjoyed the tranquility and space as it was just me. It would be very comfortable for a group as well. The kitchen was great and it was a nice patio. It was a bit of a trek to the gondola but that's all relative. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay at Northstar who wants a comfortable place to stay.
Great condo, we had a blast! Stay at home order was lifted just in time to make the trip! Property owner was very responsive to all of our emails and willing to work with us if we didn’t feel comfortable making the trip during the pandemic! Will be back for sure!
Excellent ski location, i.e. 10 min walk to gondola
Very clean, very good heating, clean bed sheets and good mattress
But limited hot water, only 2 quick showers and tub is very shallow
But recreation center is $5 / person / day and hot tubs are marginal
& 20 min walk away below the ski village
Wifi internet is very fast and reliable
I wish the host would send out check-in instructions a few days sooner
Overall probably the best you can get in Northstar Ski Village

Well-located Northstar condo
This is a very nicely updated, clean condo closely located to the Northstar location. We stayed here last year when the snow as abundant, i.e. Condo Ski Trails was easily accessible and there was a short walk from the trail through the far end of the parking lot and over to the condo. Doable if you're an adult but a bit of a challenge if you have younger children as after a long day, it's tough for them to carry their gear and haul it all the way over across the long parking lot. This year, there was not much snow so this property location was not ski in/ski out; it is located on the upper end parking lot level of Condo ski trails (only those condos located in the lower lots and adjacent to the actual Condo Ski Trail were truly ski in/ski out). Still well-located but something to keep in mind when booking. We cooked and were able to get by with the very basic materials that were provided. However, if you're planning on making something like a pan of brownies or cookies, you would need to bring your own baking dish or cookie sheets. For a family of four staying for four nights, I would recommend bringing extra necessities such as toilet paper- there is a small starter set but we always went through it all. Short walk to the village. The owner is very easy to work with as well. And for those of you who are fans of foosball, the coffee table converts into a foosball table- it's one of the reasons why we continue to return as the kids LOVE it. We look forward to returning next year!

Delightful condo in a perfect area
The condo is nestled in a quiet setting yet close enough to walk to the Village at NorthStar. It is nicely decorated with all the amenities one would need for a stay. My trip was during the late spring but it would be perfect for a winter ski vacation with a gondola and chair lifts very close. The new European lounges make comfortable beds for additional sleeping. With only one small bath, it might be tight for four people but certainly doable. The modern kitchen has been updated and has everything needed prepare meals or snacks.
The Village has grown so very much since I spent many weekends skiing there, but it is beautiful and convenient to several other ski areas. Lake Tahoe is exquisite and I recommend the area to anyone who has not had the opportunity to visit.
The owner was extremely nice and easy with whom to schedule and work. I highly recommend this condo and owner. As an aside, one of the neighbors is a full time resident and extremely nice, making it even more desirable.

Comfy and Cozy
This condo had everything I needed for some fun skiing. It was comfortable and the kitchen is really nicely remodeled with good appliances and nice granite counters. Was able to ski back to the condo everyday so that was very convenient. I'd book again!

Good ski vacation condo
This unit was clean, nicely furnished and recently renovated. The kitchen had everything we need to cook our meals. It is well located for a ski vacation, very close to the Northstar Village. It is a very short walk to the Ski Trail Condo run, which takes you directly to the gondola (shorter than the walk from the bus stop area to the gondola). It is a fine size for two people, but it would be rather crowded for 4, as there are only two rooms, a bedroom and a combination kitchen, living room and dining area. I would stay here again!

Great newly renovated condo!
We loved our stay here over President's Holiday weekend. The condo has been recently renovated and is gorgeous! It was the perfect size for our family of four. While it is off the Ski Trails Condo run, it was a bit of a walk to/from the ski trail. Not a big deal if you've got kids old enough to manage their gear and walking with their ski boots (we hiked down a couple of lots to access the trail in the morning and then skied off of the trail and walked down across the short lot to the condo) but something to consider if you've got little ones; you might want to use the free shuttle. The kitchen had most things that we needed with the exception of some baking essentials so I would consider bringing these items if you plan to cook. The kids LOVED the mini-foosball table (converts into a coffee table), wifi worked fabulously, view of the trees and snow from the living room window was awesome and most of all, Valentina was prompt in her responses to book and comprehensive in providing information on how to get to and get into the condo. We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay and will definitely consider staying here again next time we are in town.

Tidy property well located near ski runs.
Property was clean and tidy. It is well located near ski runs and village. The only issue I had was dim lights in the bedroom and lounge, and no chest of draws to unpack our suitcases into. Valentina was quick to respond to our inquiries. All up it was a great stay, Thanks Valentina.

Why they chose this property
My family loves skiing and we kept coming every year to Northstar because it is the best resort in the Tahoe area.
