Everything was perfect! The place was super clean, and communication with the host was excellent. I also asked if I could check in early, and they kindly accommodated my request for a small additional fee. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again!

Conveniently close to the beach!

We loved being so close to the beach access!! The bed was very comfortable. The place was clean and well kept. We felt safe in the neighborhood. We will certainly stay there again.

Cute, quiet condo near the beach!

Cute little condo with easy access to the beach and perfect location for getting around Destin and Fort Walton. Plenty of space for those in our party. Parking spots are handy, laundry on site, plenty of sidewalks to walk to other hotels and a couple of places to eat near Miracle Bridge. Beverly was super helpful with the laundry room during our stay after a thunderstorm knocked out power for a brief while. Would stay again with Sugar Sands if we find our way back there!

After reading the reviews we decided to stay at the condo. The beds aren’t comfortable and very cheap and hard. The place smelled of mildew and cigarettes. The air didn’t cool off well and the vents had a lot of rattling noises. The condo itself is noisy especially during the night. The bathroom was gross and had nasty mildew. There was sand and chip crumbs on the floor. The kitchen sink smelled like someone took a dump in it. Utensils were limited. Some of the dishes we used weren’t cleaned and appeared that they were just rinsed off and placed back in the cabinet. It’s very convenient to beach access however that seemed to be neglected and lots of trash.

Basic old school Florida condo

Pretty standard quarters, this unit had an original Mad Magazine painting that we all liked. Very close to the beach, about 100 yards away, can view from unit deck. My children really enjoyed the pool and we all liked body surfing in the ocean.

We had two littles so we went and bought a stopper and just had to fill it with the shower head. Other then that it was a great stay as always at tropical isle!

There is nothing fancy about this the condo but it's very clean and super affordable. Easy walk to the beach with 3 children (Ages 6, 8 & 9) less than 3 minutes. We only take water and just walk on back for snacks and lunch, cool off and head back over. Highly recommend it for a budget-friendly beach getaway!

I had to mop my rental because we couldn’t walk barefoot due to the floor not being clean properly. All of our feet was black on the bottom within 10 minutes. That’s the only negative thing I have to say about it.

Comfortable

Comfortable bed, great little view of the ocean and....a dumpster/construction. But overall nice. Wish it came with the simplest of things like dish soap (NOT dishwasher soap, but Dial), salt&pepper, sugar, single coffee packs. Things you don't want to necessarily travel with, but this unit does not provide any of it. We've paid the same amount of money at other places and the bare essentials were provided.

Perfect location

Location is what we really appreciated and the reason for renting it along with the price, 2 min walk to the beach. The property was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Kitchen had the main things. Two things that we did not like - there was some musty smell in the kitchen when you first get in from outside, but not in the bedroom. The other thing was that the AC unit was very noisy and loud both in the bedroom and in the kitchen. You can’t really hear the TV when AC is blowing. Overall we had a great time because it was so close to the beach where we spent most of the day.
