The chef's kitchen has quartzite countertops, high-end appliances, and a cozy breakfast nook. The posh living room features a projector screen connected to Apple TV for theater-style viewing, and a billiard table with window views of the wooded property outside.
All three bedrooms offer cozy, comfortable living spaces with crisp, high-quality linens, plush pillows, and tasteful decor that creates a serene atmosphere. Each bedroom is thoughtfully designed to ensure a restful and pleasant experience for all guests.
Bedroom 1: King bed
Bedroom 2: King bed
Bedroom 3: Full-over-full bunk bed + Twin-size daybed
The primary ensuite has a soaker tub, tiled walk-in shower, and twin-sink marble vanity. The guest full bath has a quartz-topped vanity and walk-in shower.
The outdoor amenities include a patio with a barbecue grill, fire pit, and hot tub. The home is located near parks, playgrounds, pickleball courts, nature trails, and downtown Douglas, known for its excellent art galleries, restaurants, and boutiques.
Located along what has become known as the “Art Coast of Michigan,” the charming town of Douglas offers you not only the stunning shoreline of Lake Michigan—backed by magnificent natural beauty—but also an art-lover’s paradise rich with culture and creature comforts, great restaurants, and vacation-oriented amenities. Whether you and your guests are seeking relaxation, adventure, a dive into the arts, or amazing culinary delights, this town has something for everyone.
At nearby Douglas Beach, take a leisurely stroll along the pristine shores of Lake Michigan or simply enjoy some rest and relaxation beneath an umbrella while lying on a beach blanket. Or head over to neighboring Oval Beach (in Saugatuck), which was ranked “One of the Top 25 Beaches in the World” by Conde Nast Traveler magazine!
For art lovers, just a few of the popular spots for local and national artworks include the Water Street Gallery, LaFontsee Galleries, Button Gallery, Mr. Miller's Art Emporium, LebenArt Gallery, and J. Petter Galleries, which features a curated collection of artwork, a theater with performances by distinguished artists, a wine bar, and a shop offering local wines, artisan cheeses, and hand-poured chocolates. Douglas also boasts stylish boutiques and antique shops, including the colorful collector’s haven, the Antique Pavilion, where you can shop for (and discover) all sorts of treasures.
If you're seeking outdoor fun, check out the nearby Saugatuck Dune Rides, where you’ll explore the dunes—one of Michigan’s true natural treasures—and experience a unique mix of entertainment, fun, and excitement! At Third Coast Paddling, rent canoes, kayaks, or paddleboards to enjoy time on the water. Additionally, there are options for sailing in Douglas, including private excursions and sailboat charters. For food and drink, the local area offers superb eateries, neighborhood brewpubs, brewing companies, wineries, and cozy coffee houses.
