Cedar Acres offers a peaceful experience in New Ulm, TX. Beautiful cedar log cabin with wood burning fireplace, an outdoor fire pit, gas grill, Wi-Fi, TV w/ satellite. Porches on the front and back that span the length of the house to sit and enjoy coffee and wildlife. Beautifully decorated cabin with lots of charm. The living room has a 60' TV so you will never miss a game or show while relaxing in the country. The cabin has central heat & air for your comfort. Property sits on 50 acres with walking trails for your enjoyment. Bring your camera for pictures under the scenic Rail Road bridge that crosses though our property. Picnic area with rocking chairs, table and chairs. The open deck has large table and chairs with a gas grill. Linens and towels provided. Cabin is very clean and is located across the street from "The Charming 40" rental where many wedding guests stay to attend The Vine Wedding venue that is located 5 minutes away. Wine tasting at the Vine is only a five minute drive and Round Top is 28 minutes away.

Stan’s place was amazing! The listing does not do it justice.

The home was beautiful, comfortable and clean, but we wanted to be on the porch the entire time watching the animals and amazing property. This place is so well cared for. It’s obvious a lot of love and time was put into this home.

Private and well done

The cabin is comfortable and well appointed. It is set back from the road and other noises and we were able to enjoy each others company and quiet mornings while planning our day. There is plenty of parking and room to explore the two generous porches while the sun rises or sets. We will surely return.

Best Little Farm in Texas

The cabin is great! Spacious - with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, hot tub. Great size kitchen and all the gadgets needed. BUT the best part is the goats, geese, donkeys, cows, ducks, beautiful landscaping and feeling of solitude. The host was great as we had to reschedule and he was very accommodating. Communication was easy. Stay here with your friends and family. Breath in the fresh air and soak up the beauty of this property.

Beautiful cabin and surrounding property!

The cabin is just as the pictures show. Simply beautiful and roomy! Nicely appointed with comfortable beds and furniture. The decks are beautiful to sit and watch there geese, goats, donkeys, belted cattle and pot-belly pig! Enjoy your morning coffee or your late afternoon cocktails in this peaceful location. The property is just off a main road with a short drive on caliche before you are back on pavement. The perfect get-away spot for relaxing with friends or family! Thank you to our hosts! They were wonderful!

Beautiful property!

When we pulled up we were greeted by goats, geese, ducks, Ava the beautiful horse, 4 donkeys, 2 cows and a pot belly pig! Gorgeous property! Very peaceful and serene. Lots to do as far as fire pit, hot tub, trails, front and back porch to see all of the beauty. The only drawback is that there is not many places to go that are close. Everything is within a half an hour or so as far as restaurants, grocery, etc. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely consider returning if ever in that area again. Btw… a full size washer and dryer is a plus! Thank you Stan!

Wonderful place to stay.

The overall experience was great. The location of the property was perfect. The property itself and the cabin was well kept and truly peaceful. It was a quick getaway outside the city, Just what we all needed. The property owner was reliable and responsive. The only negative I would say is that one guest was allergic to some of the pet hair that they found inside the cabin. Besides that, great experience and would stay here again.
