Great stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great place for 7 women comfortably. Close to everything. 5 min walk to the beach. Stocked kitchen. Not many towels/washcloths provided. Only downside was having to go to an office to pick up and drop of keys for check in/check out and having to keep up with who has the keys vs having a door code.Overall a nice place to stay.

This place was great -nice and clean. Loved the bedroom on the main floor for my MIL so she didn't have to go up and down the stairs all the time. All the bedrooms were roomy and had lots of storage if needed. The 2 viewing decks were great for early morning coffee watching the waves or if you go to the top deck - great for working out or just soaking up some sun. Great location - only a half mile to Peg Leg Pete's or a mile to Flounders/Crabs area. Also a short 2 min walk to the beach. Highly recommend staying here. We would stay here again. The mgmt company was great as well as the host!

Fun week at the beach!

We spent a week here and enjoyed it very much!! Short 2 minute walk to the beach, and a view of the water from all decks! Location is great because you can be at so many great restaurants in minutes. We had 4 adults & 2 kids (4y/o and under 2 y/o) and had plenty of space! Beware, there are A LOT of stairs in this house!! It also has a 2 car garage underneath. We parked outside and used the garage shower for rinsing ourselves and our beach stuff off, leaving it to dry in the garage overnight. Very convenient!

Perfect home for our family!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was perfect for our 2 adult daughters, their husbands and our 2 grandchildren. The kitchen was well stocked. The house was clean and comfortable. Just a short walk to the beach and no busy street to cross which was important to us. We could go back to the house for lunch or to take a break. There were beach toys for our grandchildren to use. We all enjoyed the rooftop terrace in the evenings. I would highly recommend this property!

Great location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location to the beach is perfect. Check in /out was easy. The listing doesn't quite give you much information as to what is in the home to know what to bring as far as if there is a grill or coffee pot ect. There were a few roaches so they should exterminate and we never could get the cable to work only streaming services. The rooms that face the yellow house next door have the light shining in from their security light which is on from dusk till dawn so I would suggest some curtains because it lights up the entire bedroom.Other than that it was a great rental.
Response from VrboOwner on 13 Oct 2022
Thank you Larry for taking time to post your review. We're so glad you enjoyed the location and you had a great experience with checking in and out. We appreciate your feedback as well. All of our properties have the standards home items like coffee pots, blenders, etc. However, some properties have gas grills and some have charcoal grills so we definitely need to add things like that to the listing. Thank you for pointing that out to us. We want to improve our services so this helps a lot. We have our properties sprayed each month and since this property is new on our program I have a feeling that we just sprayed this home for the first time and those insects came out to die. We're so sorry about that! Thanks for letting us know about the security light too. We will talk to the owner about hanging curtains. Please know that we are always available to our guests should you need anything during your stay. We would have been more than happy to have sent someone to the house to assist with the cable and to address any issues. We're here for you! We hope this won't detour you from staying with us in the future. We appreciate your business! Paradise Beach Homes

Great beach house

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was perfect for our family vacation. The garage on the first floor had a table and an area for our boys to safely play while we were inside. The first floor has the master bed, a queen bed room and the two twin bed room and the laundry room. The top floor had another queen room, a bathroom, well stocked kitchen, dining room and living room. While there is no direct large view of the beach since the house is in the second row, you can still see the beach from the living room and the rooftop deck. The walk to the beach was so short! The beach is gorgeous and even during spring break we always has plenty of space for our kids to play. The house was clean and comfortable and we would stay here again!

Wonderful vacation!

We stayed for a week at this location. Let start with the 800lb grill Ian the room. The view is terrible. You are staring into the garage of the the townhomes that it shares a drive with. There is however a beautiful rooftop patio with a wonderful view of the whole island but that is on the roof only. That said, this was a very clean, very nicely furnished townhome. The location is fantastic. There is a short walk to the beach which is not crowded. We went several days at different times and we able to be in the first row even time. This is also wishing walking distance of Peg Leg Petes. It's a bit of a walk but it's doable. There is also a trolly stop near the house. Beds were comfy, AC blows REAL cool, and the garage is secure. I highly recommend this place but my only resevation is the view.

Worn

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The company itself was very attentive. The house pictures were very deceiving. While I’m a Florida native we walked in to 3 cockroaches, if the house was cleaned they shouldn’t have been there. The couches had a lot of stains and crumbs. Two of the three bedding were worn with markers and stains. The TV had kids handprints all over. The washer made really loud sounds every time it was used. The company did send someone out to clean but all that was done was replaced on bed set. Additionally, the superintendent of the cleaning company came in our house the day before departure unannounced. I would use company again but house needs a lot of work for the price we paid.

While we’re glad our team was responsive, it’s clear more should have been addressed during your stay. We’ve shared your comments with the appropriate teams to ensure improvements are made. We appreciate your willingness to book with us again and would love the chance to provide a better experience next time.

Loved our stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rental company was great to work with - the house was available several hours before the check in time and they let me know immediately. The conditions of the house and all accommodations provided were fantastic, and the walk to the beach was unbelievably convenient. Only issue we had was actually with the neighbor, who claimed to be a permanent resident of the house next door. We did not park properly upon arrival (completely our fault) but instead of a polite ask, the neighbor was extremely rude and loud with us and used a very disrespectful tone, even after we told her multiple times that we understood we had made a mistake and were more than happy to move our cars. She even stood behind our cars temporarily and refused to move as we were trying to re-park and threatened to have our cars towed. Eventually she was able to calm down and it was all sorted, and we did not see or hear from her the rest of the weekend. Would highly recommend making sure you follow the parking instructions very carefully to avoid having a run-in with this person. The management company was very understanding when I talked to them about this as well.

Thank you Kaylyn for taking time to post your 5 star review about your stay! We're so glad you had such a great stay and enjoyed everything this townhome has to offer. We are so,so sorry to hear about the neighbor!! It sounds like she was having a horrible day and projecting that onto you. That's not a very pleasant thing to arrive to on your first day of vacation. We're so glad everything was settled and it sounds like the way that you responded to her had a lot to do with that. We certainly hope this won't deter you from choosing to stay with us in the future. We really appreciate your business and would love to host you again. Paradise Beach Homes
