This home is on a quiet double dead end street and offers 4 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have a private bathroom, one bathroom is accessed from the hall, and the remaining bathroom is inside an office with a daybed. The office has doors and blinds and can be treated as an extra bedroom. Downstairs is a bunk room with 2 sets of bunkbeds, a king bed, and a TV. There are 2 living rooms with smart TVs and surround sound for watching movies. The second living room has a pool table and the first has a small dual zone wine fridge.

Spend the day kayaking, fishing, or floating off the dock. The dock has a 16 x 16 covered gazebo with TV and fan. You will also enjoy viewing the lake from the fully furnished 400 square foot screened porch with small refrigertaor, fire table, dining table, TV. Kayaks are available for your use or bring your own. In addition to the ice maker in the refrigerator, there is a standalone icemaker in the laundry room that makes 100 pounds per day and holds 29 at a time. You can bring your own boat to tie to the dock or rent one for your stay (we can try to help secure a rental pontoon boat for you).

Great spot. Very nice house with a great setup for a couple of families. The pool table was awesome to keep the teens entertained during rainstorms when we stayed off the water.

We had a lovely Thanksgiving break in this amazing home. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare a turkey day feast. The house had plenty of room for 8 of us with beds to spare. The pool table and porch fire pit gave lots of options for evening activities. The host was wonderful answering questions and responding promptly. While an incredible place to stay during the fall this would be a fun house in summer with easy lake access. It’s convenient to grocery and cute Chapin shopping. Thanks again for a wonderful holiday!!

Fantastic stay

I can’t say enough about the property owners and the property! Everything was just fantastic and we really enjoyed the house the location along with all the of the amenities. We would definitely consider renting this house again in the future it had everything what you wanted and more!

Wonderful house!

Great place for family gathering! Four generations, total 11 people and plenty of room! Kayaks and paddleboard and swimming off the dock was enjoyed by all! Pool table was a hit for all four generations. House was well equipped and owner VERY responsive!

Great vacation! Beautiful lake home!

Four generations, ages 8-88 this year! 11 of us in all. Lots of room to spread out. Kitchen very well equipped and ice maker kept up with us! No steps to get into house and only one step to get from house to back screened in porch with wonderful view of the dock and water. From the porch the seniors could watch the great-grandchilden jump, swim, and kayak. Pool table kept all generations entertained every evening. Bunk room down spiral stairs gave kids their own space. House and hosts were WONDERFUL!!

Family Week on Lake Murray

Great property with great location to Chapin AND Lake Murray access and use! Property has it all for lake and family enJOYment! Dock/pier perfect for pontoon boat rental! Covered gazebo for shade at water’s edge a ginormous feature for this fair-skinned family and ability to get out of the sun for a breather and still be on the water, Gazebo TV awesome addition too! Screened in porch has beautiful views and ample space for fun, games, and eating or just reading quietly in the morning or at night! House is perfect with all amenities (ice machine great!!!) with plenty of options for rest and sleeping and bathroom needs! Outdoor cooking so easy with grills! Indoors kitchen has everything. And when we didn’t cook, Chapin has plenty of eating options! We lived a great week full of fun and relaxing. Seth at Lazy Waves was great for boat rental too, thanks for that recommendation! Host Leslie very helpful and responsive! See you next year!!!

Why they chose this property

Chapin is a small town located on the shores of Lake Murray. Our house is on a double dead end street with direct dock access to Lake Murray. It offers 700 miles of shoreline and has several fabulous restaurants and bars to visit by boat along with beach areas and lots of fun places to float. The sunsets are amazing!

What makes this property unique

Our home is very comfortable on a sunny or rainy day, with the large breezeway and screened porch facing the lake. The lake side has a shaded yard in the afternoons which is a must in the hot SC afternoons.
