NOTE: This is generally a 30 day rental with rates reflecting that, but I may occasionally allow a shorter stay AT A HIGHER nightly rate (since i have to block out the remainder of the month). Rates shown are based on 30 day rental.
Just down the hill and across the golf course from the renowned Omni Grove Park Resort and Spa, small 1BR apartment provides an amazing location at an affordable price. It is situated in a classic 1920s dwelling, originally the home of author Thomas Wolfe's sister Mable and her husband. This small, quiet unit has its own private entrance at the side/back of the dwelling and its own small porch under the trees.
You will be extremely well located for beautiful walks, and only a mile and a half from Asheville's vibrant downtown area. There are numerous restaurants within easy walking distance as well. Be sure to walk up the hill to explore Grove Park Inn (Omni) - dine there, have a drink, or just stroll with a coffee to experience this magnificent structure.
The apartment consists of a living room, small bedroom with built-in full size bed, full kitchen and bath. It maintains the charm and character of yesteryear while still providing more modern conveniences to make your stay comfortable.
Parking is available on street adjacent to dwelling.
Pet considered with additional fee… please inquire prior to booking.

About the host
Hosted by Sherri
I am a native of Asheville and have been part of the Grove Park neighborhood for over 40 years. I now live at Lake Keowee in SC, about an hour and a half away, but still spend time in Asheville and stay at one of my vrbo units when there. I love staying at this little spot for its outstanding location in this beautiful and historic neighborhood.
Although this is a new mostly unrated listing, I have 3 other VRBO properties with excellent ratings over a 7+ year span. I do not provide luxury properties, but rather, try to provide simple, comfortable spaces where guests can put their feet up and relax, at a good comparable value.

What makes this property unique
At this property, you can stay a month in the Grove Park neighborhood for what you'd pay for a few nights at the Grove Park Inn -- and cook your own dinners if you choose to. You get to live like a local in this special place and take walks under the beautiful trees!
