Circuit blew in kitchen last night we were there and electrical box was screwed shut. Place is very small and downstairs bedroom is very isolated.

Thank you for your feedback. When you called late in the evening about the kitchen power, we walked you through the issue immediately. The outage was caused by multiple high‑draw appliances, some brought by you, used simultaneously, which tripped a kitchen GFCI outlet — not a property defect. The breaker box is secured for safety, and a screwdriver is provided in the kitchen for access when needed. Regarding the home layout, the listing clearly states that this is a compact beach cottage and that the downstairs bedroom is accessed by an exterior staircase. This is fully disclosed, and guests consistently book knowing and appreciating the unique setup. We also accommodated your request to park a 38‑ft motorhome, which was only mentioned on the day of arrival. Most guests traveling with an RV contact us in advance to confirm suitability, but we made an exception to assist you despite the late notice and the size of the vehicle. We take pride in being responsive and transparent, and we feel this review does not accurately reflect the service provided or the information clearly stated prior to booking.

My husband and I stayed with four adult children. We had a blast! The kitchen was very user-friendly, and the location was really good. Not directly on the beach, but a very short walk to the sand and water. I am blind, and my Guide dog valor had a blast as well. The shower and hose at the bottom of the house before going upstairs was super helpful. It kept things a lot cleaner and I was able to rinse off my sweet puppy and all the boogie boards and chairs. our hosts were extremely easy to contact and they were very, very responsive my only caution is that the tap-water is very chlorinated and even a bit salty. The host does provide a filter, but if you’re picky about water, I highly recommend that you bring bottled or filtered water jugs as we did. on the other hand, the water pressure was amazing and it made showering and washing dishes very easy the neighbors and people we met on our stay were very kind, talkative and friendly. We had a great time.

Beach Vacation

Super cute and great location

The house is super cute and well set up and clean! The town is quite so make sure you come prepared you can get most little things you need though and they have the house well set up for incidentals! It was perfect for our stay on a quiet road just a moments drive to the beach. You could hear and see the ocean from the porch we just loved it!

Peaceful beach get away

The host was very responsive and communication was great. The house was as described and we enjoyed our stay and the easy walk to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet and there were very few people on the beach. The only down side was the aggressive mosquitos but the host did prepare us for that.

Location, location, location! 'Beach Daze' is just a few hundred feet from the beach and thus has unique access, both day and night, to one of the best undiscovered beaches in Texas. All this and its only 2 hours from Houston!
