About this property
Laurel Shore Cottage with Seasonal Private Tidal Dock, Pet friendly.
The privacy of this air-conditioned cottage on the tidal shores of Cundy's Harbor in Harpswell is something you will treasure. Sit on the deck in the morning, just feet away from the shoreline, drinking coffee and watching the eagles fly overhead, deer in the woods, or boats come through the channel at high tide. Whether the water is high in Laurel Cove channel or completely drained out, there is always a beautiful view of nature. Swimming from the dock on the high tide or exploring the ocean floor at low tide, it is everchanging, bringing something new each day.
Enjoy any meal of the day on the deck overlooking the water. Breakfast, lunch or dinner made in the full kitchen, getting take out from any of our local Harpswell or Brunswick restaurants, or grabbing some local lobsters and cooking them up! There will always be a table with a view.
If you enjoy exploring, fill your days hiking some of the many Harpswell Heritage Trust hiking trails. Kayaking or canoeing right from your own private dock on the property, when the tide allows. Take a drive and see all that Harpswell has to offer from gift shops, restaurants, sailing excursions, free summer concerts, to candy and ice cream shops. Fun Fact: the town of Harpswell has 216 miles of coastline! That is a lot to explore.
Feel like a break from the coast? Freeport's famous LL Bean and a variety of outlet stores are less than 30 minutes away. Brunswick, only 15 minutes away, is home to Maine State Music Theatre, Bowdoin College with its museums, as well as a thriving downtown area with shops and restaurants. We also have 4 local golf courses.
At Laurel Shore you are allowed to bring one dog who is under 50lbs. Dogs require an additional pet/per day charge of $60 per day. Sorry, but we only allow dogs, no other pets. This includes a service dog.
We recommend a car for your stay here in Harpswell, Laurel Shore is located 15 minutes from major grocery stores and the town of Brunswick. We hope you will be able to enjoy exploring all the Maine coast has to offer.
Please note, there is an automatic generator provided at the home as well as linens and towels.

Private, quiet, phenomenal view from back deck, ducks, gulls, chipmunks, boats, blue skies, breakfast on deck every morning, well stocked kitchen, great lighting from sky lights, clean, super comfortable bed, a great experience, no downsides. Best vacation we ever had!
Cottage was perfect and the view was amazing! The location is great - groceries and restaurants were a short drive away and it was so quiet and peaceful.

Peaceful is the word at Laurel Shore, but so close to all the local amenities...that is a great combination.
Peaceful, beautiful property. Perfect for our honeymoon. Highly recommend this place and Gurnet Trading Post for seafood!

Congratulations! We are glad you had a wonderful honeymoon at Laurel Shore. Gurnet Trading post is indeed a delicious stop, thank you for the review recommendation.
This house was small but perfect! Our dog loved it too. She found a basket of toys to play with and loved all the windows and deck. She swam in the ocean. She’s a 12 pound min pin. The house was very well equipped. The area was great! First time staying in Harpswell. We have been renting ocean front homes in Maine for the last 20 years

So glad you and your pup had a wonderful stay at Laurel Shore. We strive for the "perfect" and were happy to see we were a prefect fit for your getaway to the quiet shores of Harpswell. I hope she loved swimming in the ocean, we had a beautiful fall!
We spent our 19th wedding anniversary here. It was the perfect romantic getaway. The views are stunning and the location is tranquil. Just a short drive to the general store for necessities, and Uber Eats delivers. We didn’t want to leave. Would 100% stay here again.
Perfect rental for me and my dog. Lots of windows and light, with gorgeous views right on the water. The deck is fantastic. Great location - very quiet (except the gulls and an occasional owl), but also convenient to restaurants and such. Kitchen had everything I needed and furniture was all lovely and comfy.

Chris, Glad you had a great trip with your dog. We know the wildlife here can be a bit noisy, especially in the morning, they rise with the sun and happy to share their joy of the day.
We spent a very relaxing 3 nights here. The house is quite comfortable, the view outstanding, and in a quiet neighborhood. It was a good location for our needs with plenty of places within a 20 minute or so drive to walk with a dog and get lobsters. Would definitely recommend!
This property is absolutely delightful. Such a peaceful setting. The property was so clean and the kitchen was well-equipped for dining in. The property manager David was also very helpful and responsive. We will be back soon!
We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing at this property and watching the tides and birds from the deck. Even on a rainy day, you can see outside from every room. The bed and furnishings were comfortable and kitchen well stocked. This quiet location is within easy access to Portland and Freeport, as well. Highly recommend!
This house was perfect for two of us and our dog! We stayed for two weeks. The location is absolutely amazing, and the view was STUNNING. Tons of good food places near by. There were dog bowls and a dog bed ready for us when we got there. Management was very easy to get in touch with as well. Such a great place and neighborhood, we’ll definitely be back!!

The home was exactly as described. Deck was large with nice furniture and feet from the water. Photos show that bathroom is upstairs and kitchen is so no surprises. Highly recommend Holbrooks at the end of Cundy Harbor Rd!! Great place to relax

So glad you had a chance to relax and found some great food!
My husband and I rented this house in Oct 2023 for our anniversary. We are both nature lovers, and we loved all the wildlife we saw, as well as the beautiful quietness of the property. The house had a small but well-stocked kitchen (including an electric kettle!). The property manager, David was awesome too - very kind and helpful. We can’t say enough good things about the house and our experience there. If we make another trip to the area, we will definitely stay there again.
Even nicer than the pictures and the pictures are excellent. One you arrive, you know you are where you should be. Beautiful... Peaceful... Well taken care of... Wow! We will be back!

We look forward to having you return.
This might be one of the most peaceful places to stay in Midcoast Maine rentals
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cottage is incredibly cozy and is nestled right on the rocky banks of Casco bay. We saw a seal swim by from the comfort of the living room. The porch and chairs are wonderful. My suggestions are getting new towels/pans (they were pretty worn) and providing basic showering soaps would be great as well. Everything else was perfect!
