Camp Van Winkle is a Cozy Catskills Chalet located only two hours from NYC.

This is the perfect space for a small family or 3 couples/friends to enjoy. The Chalet is cozy, just about 1000 square feet, the open floor plan brings everyone together in a wonderful way.

Camp Van Winkle is a place to relax! Yet, when you need to work, we have high speed, reliable WIFI (400/25) for your use! No worries-you can get away from it all and stay connected at the same time. :)

THE HOUSE VIBE

COZY!!! The fireplace keeps the entire house warm on chilly evenings and your firewood is included. We have games, some old fashioned DVD's, a DVD player and a large ART TV connected to WIFI. Connect to your own services or use our YouTube.

Each bedroom is a comfy, dreamy escape featuring luxury bedding, black-out shades and personal fans.

Outside we created relaxing seating areas in several locations.

LOCATION

Camp Van Winkle sits on an acre of land that is both private yet only minutes from the town of Tannersville and only 2 miles from Hunter ski resort.

We are also surrounded by some of the most spectacular hiking trials and waterfalls in the Catskills.

~Tannersville Huckleberry Multi-use trail! This 2.7 mile trail is perfect for biking, walking and cross-country skiing.
~5 minutes from Hunter Ski Resort
~20 minutes from Windham Ski Resort
~3 minutes from Colorful Tannersville and a variety of restaurants and antique shops.

The entire cottage and property is exclusively for your to enjoyment.

We are located less than 1 mile from the famous town of Tannersville and 2 miles from Vail’s Hunter Mountain ski resort. Take advantage of our bike trail and ride into town!

We are not located close to public transportation. You will need a car to get to the chalet. The chalet is walking distance to several trails!

PET FEE: We absolutely love dogs and welcome them at Camp Van Winkle. However, most dogs require additional cleaning in terms of hair removal. For this reason we charge a $100 pet fee.

Unfortunately, we cannot allow cats due to a severe family allergy.

HOT TUB: The hot tub is cleaned just for you before your arrival!!
