Since this is an end unit on the third floor you will have the BEST view and privacy at this community. The end unit come with more windows and vaulted ceilings to give you a spacious and bright environment. From this home away from home (with elevator) you will enjoy wonderful lake views from the living room, balcony, and master bedroom. It is the perfect place to unwind! An open living concept with vaulted ceilings invites you to enjoy chillaxing in the kitchen, dining room, and family room with brand new gas fireplace. The pantry/laundry room have its own
separate space off of the kitchen. Enjoy your morning coffee or sipping a glass of wine on the covered balcony or go for a stroll on the boardwalk around the lake. This condo under new ownership from an experienced VRBO owner has many new updates in its 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has an ensuite master bath, a large walk-in closet, as well as its own private access to the covered and vaulted outdoor deck. It also has a brand new king bed with very comfortable mattress, from which fabulous views of Lake Norman can be enjoyed. The second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom with vaulted ceiling has two twin beds. Brand new areas rugs are throughout the penthouse. Beautiful hickory hardwood floors and plantation shutters add to the charm. Washer & dryer are available so you can pack light. The kitchen is fully stocked for your cooking needs. Keep connected in comfortable new furnishings with high-speed wireless internet and smart TVs in every room, as well as a DVR and some family games.
Make use of the swimming pool or tennis court. Port City Restaurant is a short walk away on the boardwalk and is highly recommended. Morningstar Marinas is a few minutes away for your boat rentals for your Fishing, skiing, paddle boarding adventures.
The Lake Norman area has much to enjoy including: White Water Center, NASCAR events, horse back riding, many golf courses. There is a variety of great dining in the immediate towns of Cornelius, Huntersville, Davidson, and Mooresville! Uptown Charlotte and Charlotte Motor Speedway are only 20 minutes away. We took our Tritoon boat down and was glad we did. We had three glorious days exploring Lake Norman. Portside restaurant was amazing.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! From the amenities (laundry, cutlery, toiletries) to the comfiest of king sized beds this rental made us feel right at home. The views were spectacular as we had our morning coffee...highly recommend!

Peaceful Penthouse was the perfect location

Wonderful location and very close to the wedding venue. We held the rehearsal dinner at the Port City Club and it worked beautifully. Would have loved to have a working ice maker with the heat index in the 100s for a few days during our stay. Overall a lovely condo.

Although Lake Norman is densely populated, this condo complex is very nice, and the condo itself is great and has a lovely view. Peaceful Comfort

Our experience was wonderful. The condo was clean and comfortable. The location was outstanding. Plenty to do in the area with. Peaceful feeling and amazing views of lake Norman in the complex. Dry lake Norman

Condo was nice and well kept. The area was nice as well, restaurants and stores close. Apparent lack of rain had Lake Norman at very low levels so the view didn’t quite match the pictures but still was a nice view and a great place to get away. We will definitely stay here again in the future

On the lake

Condo was just as advertised on VRBO. Great view, lovely neighbor, excellent restaurant just down the boardwalk. The surrounding areas had everything you could possible want for a vacation or quick getaway. Patty (our host) was terrific. Great response to any questions. Just bring your clothes and you will be all set! Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Patty!

Peaceful Penthouse

Very much enjoyed the property. Very easy to get to Charlotte. Disappointed that the tennis court was under renovations, but will be great when complete. Found several nearby. Neighbors were friendly and the pool opened up just before our arrival. The Port City Club, a very short walk down the boardwalk, was fabulous! Would stay here again. Thank you, Patty & Mike!

Great location

Patti's condo is in a great location with beautiful views. Overall the place was comfortable for our family. We were a bit disappointed with the AC/Heating unit not working properly and the TV in the living room not working. Patty & her husband were helpful trying to walk us through the issues but could not get it working.

Unfortunately the storm that occurred just before these guests arrived resulted with a power outage, we think that a resulting power surge caused the issue with the tv and possibly HVAC unit. We have since replaced the HVAC unit, and the tv with a brand-new smart tv. Fortunately, there are 3 other tvs in our Condo, also every room has ceiling fans and the weather was in the 70s during these guests stay.

Labor Day Weekend

We had a wonderful time. The home was beautifully decorated, fresh and new looking and very clean. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and comfortable. The porch looked out over a lovely quiet cove of the lake with a boardwalk for walking around the cove. The small pool was right below the condo and we had it almost to ourselves! Just a 2 minute walk down the boardwalk was a lovely waterside restaurant. Our host was quick to respond to any text or email questions we had. We had a marvelous stay and would definately stay here again!

Peaceful Penthouse

The name of the property says it all. Very quiet and peaceful location with an awesome view of Lake Norman. We stayed there over Thanksgiving. It was very close to my niece's house, who was hosting. The rooms configuration worked so we were separated from my son's family - we each had some privacy. While we didn't do any cooking during our stay, the kitchen was very well equipped. Tons of pots and pans plus a great assortment of spices. More than enough towels - even pool towels if it had been open. They had everything to make your stay comfortable - books, games, cards, lots of cable channels. Even a grill on the patio. Only negative - wish they had a box of tissue - my allergies were going crazy. Overall, it is a great place to stay.

Girls Trip

We enjoyed our stay. This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this condo community. Views were great. Host was very easy to get in touch with. Condo was very clean. We did have a few issues. First part of the week was very warm. We could not get the A/C to work properly. I think it was preset. Then turned cool. Heat worked fine. Never could get the living room TV to work. Other TV's did. When it was cool, we thought we would have some wine and a fire. Fireplace, pilot light had not been turned on for the season. So no TV nor fire in the living room. We were a bit disappointed with the outdoor patio furntiure. Used to very nice outdoor furniture at the other condos. The view was still great, and we spent a lot of time outside. If you are a coffee drinker, use the drip pot. The Keurig is very small and very temperamental . Would we stay here again, yes if some of these issues were resolved. All in all we enjoyed our trip

We were happy to accommodate these last minute guests, and as always we respond to questions/concerns asap. The ladies did have a few questions throughout their week which we answered quickly, but I am surprised they couldn't get the tv to work since they never asked. Since our purchase one year ago we have upgraded many items including a brand new smart tv in the living area, wonderful counter height patio furniture, fireplace burner and HVAC system. I am sorry the ladies were not happy with the keurig, but we do have 2 types of coffee makers to accommodate most people's needs. We are happy that they had a lovely time, as we always wish for all of our guests.

Fantastic one week long dtay

We had a great time staying at this unit. Patty’s instructions were informative and we had everything we needed for the weeklong stay. Pool was right by the unit and our kids (5 & 7) enjoyed playing by it almost everyday. Highly recommend to stay in this place.

We were very satisfied with the property and the host.

Condo was very clean. Check in and check out process was quick and easy. Kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. Great View! Note that the owners installed plexiglass on the balcony railings. This was nice as we had a 3yr. old granddaughter. Railings were safe without, but made us more comfortable. Numerous parks nearby. Close to grocery and restaurants. Will return.

We would love the pleasure to host you in our latest new "home away from home". We are an active family of 5 who have traveled throughout the world, but especially in the US. We spent 12 years visiting every state in our wonderful country with our RV. The picture depicts our last state - Hawaii in a VRBO rental. As my husband and I are reaching our retiring years and our boys are finding their own places to land, we have found Lake Norman, NC to be one of our favorite places in this great country! It is great location for all of us to meet and enjoy something for everybody.

Why they chose this property

Since we have traveled throughout the entire country we know that there is much competition for vacation time, we also know how to have fun. Our harborside penthouse will not disappoint you. There is plenty of room and comfort for your entire family, the views are spectacular, and there is so much to do in Cornelius, you will never be bored. Head to the lakefront pool for a swim. Rent a boat, or a paddleboard on the calm lake Norman. Check out the tennis courts, take a walk or a bike ride on the miles of sidewalks and recreation trails. If you want a relaxing vacation you will find peace at our penthouse. Spend some quiet time admiring the lake from the balcony. Take a stroll over to Port City for a bite to eat and/or a cocktail by the water. They are all just steps away from one another.

What makes this property unique

End unit on the third floor in the middle of the complex provides the BEST view in the community. Also end units are bigger with more windows and hence brighter.
