Perfect for 1 or 2 families, when you're not enjoying the activities in the area (hiking, skiing, swimming, Story Land, etc) sit and relax by our gas stove playing a board game or on our spacious deck enjoying nature. This spot is perfect for your furry friend to join you on your adventure too.

Your pet dog is welcome and stays for free! Our key ask is to keep your pup leashed while outside and pick up waste after them.

Easy to access the mountain but the property was not very clean. Dust on many corner, human and dog hair on many places.We also had an issue with the skylight being over the upstairs bedroom (in your face). It had no cover, so at 5 AM you had to wake up because the amount o light. We spoke with the host and even took measurements of the skylight but the issue wasn't resolved. We left early by a day.

Great getaway

This is a clean, comfortable, quiet place to stay. The host was good at communicating. Easy check in and check out. I will say here again or at one of her other properties. One thing to know: no cell service in the cabin and nearby area so you’ll need to use wifi.

Great location

A great location to hike and get out in nature, quiet street and very dog friendly. We had a minor issue that Darryl helped resolve. It would be nice to add a little instruction book about the house — light switches weren’t intuitively placed and the woodstove was a bit difficult to figure out on our own but those were minor things and it was great to have a washer/dryer on site. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Summer Stay

The check in/check out process was simple! The home was spacious enough for our family of four and small dog. Communication with the owner was efficient! The only issue we had was the home smelled like mildew throughout, which was unfortunately a little off-putting. We know it is a humid season now, but it was pretty strong. The only air conditioning was a unit in one of the bedrooms on the first floor. It kept that room cool, but did not provide cool air to the rest of the home. Overall, the stay was nice for what we needed it for. Thank you Darryl!

Cabin Getaway

Our family had quite an eventful trip to say the least with a concussion and our dog taking off on us. Through it all Darryl and Jen were amazing!! They were more than just hosts for our trip and we would now consider them friends. The cabin itself is beautiful and in a wonderful location. The kids loved exploring in the woods, s’mores by the fire and sitting on the beautiful deck. We had everything we needed and more. The home is impeccably clean and very cozy. We will definitely be returning to this spectacular home owned by some of the most amazing people we have ever met.
