We were in town for my sister’s wedding at the Pemaquid Light House and reception at the Bradley Inn. Ed, the property owner was very attentive and helpful. He promptly answered our phone calls and text messages. The house was a perfect fit for our family of four- mom and dad and two boys aged 9 and 12. The home was very clean and spacious. Having the linens provided was a bonus. Even though the home had twin beds downstairs, our two boys preferred to sleep closer to us. Ed has a new queen-sized pull out sofa in a living space just outside of the master bedroom. This is where our boys slept but they loved having the twin bedroom downstairs to play on their iPads during some down time in the morning before we began our adventures. We loved the close proximity to C.E Reilly grocery store, Rachel Carson preserve, hiking trails, the Pemigquid Light House, the Sea Gull Restaurant, The Anchor Restaurant, The Sole ( former Contented Sole) restaurant, Pemaquid Beach, Kayaking with Maine Kayaks,Damariscotta, and not too far from Mt. Battie in Campden, ME ( 40 minutes). The Hardy Boat tours dock is just 5 minutes away to see the puffins! The other plus for the house is the well-stocked kitchen with pots, pans, cups, plates, and silverware. Ed has a full kitchen with oven, toaster oven and dishwasher. I highly recommend this property and would love to come back again! Thank you for providing a perfect place for us to stay while in Maine.
