This was the perfect place to stay for our family's Fall getaway together! Truly a little piece of paradise in the midst of Door County. Surrounded by trees, in a very tranquil setting we could enjoy the beautiful autumn colors from every window! The property itself was very cozy and inviting, offering many amenities which added that extra layer of comfort during our stay. We especially enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace in the evening, and the coffee bar in the mornings, which was also a nice added touch! And we so appreciated that we could bring our family pet, and faithful companion along with us on our travels, as he enjoys exploring the outdoors as much as we do! Thank you for sharing this treasure in the woods with us, we have many wonderful memories of our time spent here!

Everything was absolutely perfect! The only suggestion I would have is to consider adding a grab bar in the shower. I had my elderly mom with me and the shower / tub combo without a little grab bar made her nervous about falling. Would definitely stay here again!

A quaint little cabin on the edge of Door County. Very peaceful location just enough outside of town. The hosts were very thoughtful in the way they set up the cabin for dog owners and even provided a thoughtful basket which made us feel very welcome! They provided lists of things to do and their recommendations across the whole county. For our first trip with our dog, it suited all our needs and more. Cannot recommend this cabin enough! There were two other cottages near to us but left plenty of space so it didn’t feel crowded.

This was our second stay at Timberline and, once again, we enjoyed it very much. It has a quiet, very pretty location in the woods with a beautiful screened porch that provided a great spot for reading and relaxing, just what we were looking for.

This was my second time at this cabin and we are already talking about a fall trip. I especially enjoyed the “off-season” of Door County because there was little traffic and few wait times. A perfect time/place to simply turn off life and recharge together!

Relaxing time in Door County

My mom and I had a great few days at this cabin. It was so relaxing to be in the woods, while still being close enough to everything to be a great basecamp.

This is an exceptional gem of a place. Warm, cozy and welcoming. This is our second visit in January and the landscape did not disappoint. We had a snowstorm, bunkered down by the fire and had many lovely walks. A winter wonderland in the Door is the best to decompress.

Absolutely amazing and everything we hoped for! The place is so clean, smells outstanding and has everything you would need for your trip. The hosts were very communicative and checked in to make sure we didn’t need anything. Our senior dogs loved sunbathing in the morning sunlight thanks to the giant windows. And we enjoyed coffee on the porch, taking in the morning. It’s located close to town but far enough away that we were able to fully relax. Great bookworm vacation spot! We will definitely book again!
