SHASTA LAKESHORE RETREAT #7 is our most LUXURIOUS LAKEVIEW HOME, sleeps 14 guests (max of 9 adults) and is just across the street from the lake. It is a short walk/drive to the boat ramp & marina. This home is located in the highly desired Sugarloaf community of Lakehead. It features 3 large bedrooms & 3 baths plus a large game room with pool table.

The upper floor is an expansive gathering space that features a large kitchen with fine wood cabinets, granite counter tops and brand name appliances. You will be cooking in style at Retreat 7 and will enjoy the large island and additional bar counter that flows into the main living area.

The "open" living area features leather couches, stone fireplace, high wood ceilings and views out to the large deck for entertaining.

Outdoor entertaining space has a large patio table and chairs.

The master bedroom features a king bed, large windows, over sized closet, with an adjoining stone walk in shower. Down the hall is a 2nd bedroom with a queen bed and a full bath that sits across the hall. Off the kitchen is a laundry room with a large washer and dryer.

Downstairs, you quickly see the spacious lower level featuring a large game room with pool and card tables, a great social area and media space. This room as two sofa sleepers.

The lower level has a 3rd bedroom with two bunk beds that can sleep at least 4. The Retreat's 3rd full bath is on this level.

This wonderful home is a short walk/drive to the lake, marina and boat ramp....with views of the lake (dependent on water level).

Good Parking for one boat on a flat surface and space for multiple cars and trucks on a sloped driveway.

Beautiful property

This place was beautiful! We had max our amount of guests but the resort was more than enough to host all of us. I loved how close the resort was to the lake. We had a wonderful view of the lake from our deck. Would definitely came back here again!

Perfect vacation home : Well-Maintained, Spacious, and Fully Equipped.

The property is even more impressive in person than in the photos. It's well-maintained and spotless. It offers a fully equipped kitchen, a wide selection of board games for both kids and adults, and is perfect for 2-3 families. I will definitely return and highly recommend it to others.

Close to the lake, with a gourmet kitchen!

The property was exactly as advertised and comfortably slept seven adults and one child. The main floor was very open from the kitchen, through the living room, and flowed out to a large deck. The kitchen was large, well stocked, and had premium appliances which made cooking a special meal for my mother's 60th a breeze. The whole group was talking about "next time" even before our last day. Lori was exceptionally responsive and had a great recommendation for a specialty butcher in town. Check out R&R if you need to pick up something to grill when coming here.

Will Stay Again

We loved this property. The kitchen was to die for. We had some fabulous meals cooked in it. Everything was well stocked. Stairs were hard for older family, maybe get the elevator running again. Holes in fence need to be fixed. A suggestion of a 4 foot fence between neighbors part of yard and your house, would be helpful for others who bring dogs. Overall the experience was AMAZING, location is PERFECT. I would stay again and again.

40th Anniversary Trip to Lake Shasta

This was our 40th Anniversary trip to Lake Shasta. We have done lots of Houseboat rentals and house rentals over the years. We have rented this specific house 10-12 times. This years experience was exceptional. Shasta Lakeshore Resorts does an amazing job making sure the house is spotless clean and their communication prior to your arrival, during your stay and after you check out, is top notch. We will rent from them for every trip from this point forward. This was our second experience with them and this year was phenomenal. They care about you and your family experience and making your memories. Thank you Lori for being so awesome helping us with our every need.

Family vacation spot

**Great:** - Conveniently close to the lake, just a short walk away. - Nice separation of space, with the kids' area downstairs and adults' upstairs. - Excellent VRBO management with clear communication and instructions. - Clean and well-maintained appliances. - Beautiful deck space for relaxing. **Okay:** - The downstairs area gets much cooler than upstairs when the AC is on, so consider bringing an extra blanket for the kids. - There's a somewhat eccentric neighbor next door who’s very enthusiastic about the deer. We simply ignored it, and it wasn’t an issue. - Deer frequently visit the yard, which could be a fun experience or a minor nuisance, depending on your perspective. **Minor Considerations:** *(I hesitate to even call these downsides since our stay was absolutely great, and there's nothing the owners or management can change, but these might be helpful to know.)* - The house is located at the corner of a fork in the road, which makes pulling in a bit different. - The steep driveway could be challenging if you're bringing a boat and trying to park up front. - No Verizon cell reception at the house, although you can get a signal just a couple of minutes down the road. - No yard for pets to roam around but it’s a really nice walk to the water, which we did quite often. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to others. Thank you, Lori!

Beautiful, centrally located to all the beauty of Shasta

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay last week. The property is so beautifully upgraded. Definitely need to keep the door closed at the top of the stairs to keep the cold air circulating on the upper floor during the hot days of summer. The lower level was like an ice box! The kitchen was so well stocked with all the things you could need -- I even took pictures of a few things that I now want to buy for our own home. The only kitchen item that I could not find was a basting brush, and I only looked because everything else was there in plentiful quantity -- a full spice rack, baking dishes, a colander, wine opener, plates, glasses, ZIPLOCS, we were so pleasantly surprised! Thank you for all your thoughtfulness there! Our kids loved the t-shirts too! If you have a pet, beware that the yard is not completely fenced in. There are several holes in the chain link that the local deer (and two fawn) come through to eat in the neighbors yard. Neighbor also has several hummingbird feeders and in the mornings there are hundreds over there! We also had a close encounter with a skunk, but our pup escaped without getting sprayed. Owner did provide a gate at the bottom of the balcony stairs - thank you. We just took our pup on a lot of walks. Neighbors are lovely. We met a few, and everyone is very quiet and kind. Only downside was the lack of mobile service (not owner's fault) and the lake levels which we knew to expect. How do you even prepare yourself for that. When the lake is full again, this property will truly have it all. Who needs mobile service when you're at the lake? Easy drive to Shasta Caverns, Whiskeytown, Mt Shasta, McCloud Falls, Castle Crags.... Little grocery store down the street had what we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Shasta Summer Fun!

Book this place now if you want an amazing experience at the lake! The property management team is super responsive and has thought of everything! This house is actually better than described. So much room to hang out in. The launch for the lake is just down the street--I think this house is closest to where you can launch at this point. Launch and parking were not a problem at all. Once you launch, it's only a short easy ride out to where you can ski and board. If you don't want to venture far out in the lake, there are a lot of places to anchor and enjoy the view in the river. The lake has more than enough water to go have fun! We had most of the lake to ourselves during the week! The water is just the right temp to cool off on hot days. The house has a huge kitchen with everything you could need, giant master shower, great deck, massive living room with comfy couch, pool table, bunk beds for the kiddos. Pack your bathing suit and towel and just go!

With over two decades of cherished family memories at Shasta Lake, we, David and Lori, came to regard Shasta Lake as the highlight of our summers. It's a place where families can bond, and where the range of activities appeals to every age group, making it the perfect spot for a family getaway.

Our love for Shasta Lake runs deep, leading us to make a life-changing decision in 2015 when we purchased our first lakefront home, known as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #1. The incredible experiences we had here were simply too good not to share and we knew our houseboat days were over after staying in this home.

A year later, we acquired the property next door, now known as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #2, bolstered by the popularity of our first home, which had become a year-round favorite.

In 2019, our two grown sons also fell in love with this wonderful place, prompting them to buy a home on the same charming street, christened as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #3. They entrusted us with its management, a responsibility we take to heart. All three homes required significant investment and remodeling as they had been neglected for years.

After many requests from dear friends and neighbors, in 2021 we started managing other properties, which further enriched our collection. Although we only own two of them, today, we proudly represent 19 remarkable homes, each carefully selected for its unique charm, quality, and comfort. We firmly believe that an extraordinary home is the foundation of an unforgettable getaway, and we want nothing less than perfection for our valued guests.

Our journey doesn't end here; it's an ongoing adventure inspired by our passion for Shasta & the surrounding areas.
