Located just a short stroll from Sugarloaf Marina, this spacious and inviting 3-bedroom, 2-bath home is designed for both relaxation and adventure. With easy access to the shimmering waters of Shasta Lake, it’s an ideal destination for families, friends, and groups seeking a memorable getaway.

The home comfortably accommodates up to 16 guests (max of 9 adults), with room for 3 adults per bedroom, plus children under 16. Whether you're gathering with family or friends, there’s plenty of space for everyone to unwind and enjoy quality time together. For indoor fun, the 3-car garage has been transformed into a game room, complete with billiards, ping pong, arcade basketball, and more, offering endless entertainment for both kids and adults. The fully equipped kitchen makes meal prep a breeze, and after a day of lake adventures, you can gather around the dining table or sink into the cozy living room sofa to relax with a movie.

Step out onto the spacious deck and take in stunning views of Shasta Lake. It’s the perfect spot to BBQ, enjoy an evening around the gas firepit, or simply soak in the peaceful surroundings. Retreat #8 is situated on a peaceful cul-de-sac in a family-friendly neighborhood. It’s part of a small street of Shasta Lakeshore Retreat vacation homes, with eight other rentals nearby, making it possible to accommodate over 100 guests in total – perfect for larger gatherings or reunions. Parking is available for up to three vehicles on the property, with additional parking at Sugarloaf Marina. Guests have full access to the home and the game room, though please note that access to the main deck is via steep stairs.

We’re also a dog-friendly home (sorry, no cats), so feel free to bring your furry companions along for just $95 per pet, per stay. We loved our stay! The bedrooms were spacious and the deck and garage play area were prefect for our family reunion! It kept the kids busy! (We rented multiple homes and used these places to gather) . What a beautiful home. Love the updated bathrooms! They communicated well with us! We had a wonderful time! The water toys were also a plus to use. Thank you!!!

Amazing stay in June 2025!

We stayed in cabin 8 this trip. Simply delightful stay. The game room was a blast with the basketball hoops and ping pong. AC worked great on the hot days. Bathrooms are nicely updated and very functional. Beds are very nice also. Greatly enjoyed the deck with lake views.

Perfect for all adults or family with kids. Plenty of space and kitchen well equipped with dishes and utensils. Beautiful, well lit bathrooms too! Across the street is a little cove you can walk to. Very rocky but bring some chairs to sit and enjoy the lake. Lori and Dave very friendly and available, answered all my questions quickly.

Beautiful home for a lake retreat

This home is the perfect place for large groups of family and friends. The home is very spacious and has so many amenities. My Family and I spent 3 nights together around the outdoor fire pit, barbequing and enjoying the comfy outdoor seating. We had fires in the indoor fireplace as well, and played games at the large dining table. The kitchen is well stocked and we cooked all our meals. The beds are comfortable and the house is immaculate. The home has a view of the lake and is close to a marina where we tried out the paddle board. We'll definitely be back.

We had an amazing much needed family trip. The property was exactly as the picture showed. There was a small hiccup with the refrigerator but the host sent someone out to fix it immediately. Definitely a place we would return to.

Fabulous Place to Stay

We had such a great first time experience in Shasta! We loved the house and it was stocked with everything we needed! We loved hanging out on the balcony and enjoying barbecuing, playing cards on the outdoor table and most of all, enjoying our time by the gas fire place! We loved the fact that it slept so many people and there was plenty of room for our party of 9. Our kids loved the game room downstairs and spent a lot of time there! Great times! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy such a great location!

With over two decades of cherished family memories at Shasta Lake, we, David and Lori, came to regard Shasta Lake as the highlight of our summers. It's a place where families can bond, and where the range of activities appeals to every age group, making it the perfect spot for a family getaway.

Our love for Shasta Lake runs deep, leading us to make a life-changing decision in 2015 when we purchased our first lakefront home, known as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #1. The incredible experiences we had here were simply too good not to share and we knew our houseboat days were over after staying in this home.

A year later, we acquired the property next door, now known as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #2, bolstered by the popularity of our first home, which had become a year-round favorite.

In 2019, our two grown sons also fell in love with this wonderful place, prompting them to buy a home on the same charming street, christened as Shasta Lakeshore Retreat #3. They entrusted us with its management, a responsibility we take to heart. All three homes required significant investment and remodeling as they had been neglected for years.

After many requests from dear friends and neighbors, in 2021 we started managing other properties, which further enriched our collection. Although we only own two of them, today, we proudly represent 19 remarkable homes, each carefully selected for its unique charm, quality, and comfort. We firmly believe that an extraordinary home is the foundation of an unforgettable getaway, and we want nothing less than perfection for our valued guests.

Our journey doesn't end here; it's an ongoing adventure inspired by our passion for Shasta & the surrounding areas. We are committed to carefully expanding our offerings, reviewing additional unique homes to provide more options for all the wonderful families that come to visit this recreational area year after year providing them a much needed lodging option.

Location, Location, Location. Homes that are close to the water with lake view locations and on private land are extremely rare on Shasta Lake. This home is located on the best street (Daisy Lane) in the highly desired Sugarloaf area of Lakehead off the Sacramento Arm of the Lake. Great views of the lake, mountains and wildlife with a short walk to the lake, marina and boat ramp (depending on lake level). You will love this home. This home is unique with its very large 3 bedrooms where a family can stay in each one of them.
