This is our 4th time back to the Flip Flop hideaway. We love this house and area a little more each time. The house is perfect for a family vacation. We love the canal in back, the closeness of the beach and the well appointed kitchen. We hope to return soon.

This house was perfect for our family vacation! My husband and kids are big into fishing so having the dock and canal/bay access was perfect for us! There was a close public ramp to put our boat in and easy access to the beach. You could probably walk but you can also drive up the street and park to make it easier. The ping pong table was used the whole time we were there, all appliances worked amazing, very cold fridge, cold air even on the hottest days, plenty of linens and toiletries in case anything was forgotten. Everything was great and we are planning on booking again next year! Host was very friendly as well! No complaints here.

Our family and friends had such a great time. The house was so nice and had so much to do. The couch was so comfy! Having the beach in such a short walk was amazing. It’s a great place to stay. Definitely recommend.

Hideaway

Great vacation home. Everything you need for a relaxing stay at the beach. Without a doubt this is the most well stocked home we’ve stayed in. We highly recommend the Flipflop and will definitely stay here again.

Great Beach Escape

We spent a great long weekend here with family and friends. Well equipped and located in a quiet area a couple of minutes walk to a gorgeous and quiet beach. Host is very responsive and great to work with. Will definitely stay again!

Nice cottage on alligator point, close to beach access with very quiet beaches and a few great restaurants within a 30 minute drive. If you need a break from the fast paced every day to day, stay on alligator point. It was a great place but it does have a musty odor so I couldn’t give it a 5 star. The owners were very helpful with our stay.

We had a great stay at Flip Flop Hideaway. As others mentioned, house was very clean and easy walk to beach. Weather was very good for our trip, but the house had plenty of room and plenty of things to do for entertainment even if we’d had rain days. We had five adults and a three year old, and never felt crowded. Lisa was a very nice and very responsive host.

Quiet Ocean Stay

This was a spacious, and well equipped home to stay near the beach for our family. Comfortably accommodated 6 of us; 3 adults, 1 teen, and 2 children. Plenty of games and entertainment, and the hosts were very communicative and pleasant to deal with. Thoroughly enjoyed the quiet community and close proximity to the beach. Would like to return and stay again!

The perfect beach getaway!

We stayed here for my daughter's birthday and had the best time. The house is walking distance to the beach. The beds are super comfy, and my kids loved the bunk bed. They have everything you could need to keep yourself entertained and relax with. If you're looking for fun beach weekend this js definitely the place to be.

Pretty beach vacation home

This home was pretty, well stocked, nicely decorated, and very clean. The host responded quickly to our questions and gave us helpful information about restaurants. My two cousins and I had a wonderful long weekend!

This place is in a great location, quick to get to the beach and easy access to the bay via the canal. We will definitely be back. The kitchen is stocked with good quaility cookware and appliances. The “take one, leave one” library was a hit, as were the board games! The beach is beautiful, 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing Workation

We loved our time at this location. Quiet and friendly neighborhood. Even without being on the shore you can hear the waves at night and the night sky was beautiful without light pollution. Would highly recommend staying at any home owned and maintained by this couple.

Great location Great vacation rental

Property was perfect for our family, the property owners go over and beyond to make your stay comfortable and all of the little extras provided were a nice bonus. The property is within walking distance of the public access to beach. Beach is very nice, away from all of the hustle which made it the perfect place for our family to enjoy. The house is on the canal which gave access to fishing right off the dock.

Love the extra touches!

We had a wonderful time here. It was perfect for what we needed and we'll def come back. We love that the owner had snacks and coffee/tea supplies available. She also had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash available, and had the softest sheets!

Great New Years Trip!

The flip flop hideaway was perfect for our needs! We had two toddlers and a dog with us and felt right at home in this cozy and charming house! The house was well stocked with games and activities and just a short walk to a beautiful and quiet beach. We would definitely return!
