Simple, clean, and cozy!

Everything was great! More than enough for what needed. Home Owners and property manager were very nice and welcoming. We like to travel with out boat and the fact that it had a dock right behind that we were able to park the boat was awesome! Will definitely be coming back again and with hopes the Redfish Room is available.

Wonderful village, accomodations almost recovered

Matlacha is almost recovered from the hurricane and the town is resiliant. Certin accommodations here were lacking, but i am sure that is due to the hard work to get it back to accepting guests. While the cleanliness was PREFECT. I look forward to having the owners add more comfortable mattresses as the current ones are very very hard. I would also love to a days worth of coffee and water as an accomodation. All in all, a cute little fishing flat. With great people as guests and neighbors.

We're sorry to hear that. Too bad, we would have liked an immediate message about the cockroach problem in order to eliminate it immediately.

Awesome Location plus Kayaks

Location, Location, Location, we enjoyed kayaking and the fishing right out the back door so this spot was great for us. Its a bit of a drive to any beaches in the area, but lots to see in Matlacha. We used the bikes as well but one got a flat tire the first use and they were never fixed for the time we were there - that was disappointing, should have a spare propane tank for the BBQ rather than expecting guests to run out and pay for that. We were lucky because the other guests were very friendly and got us up to speed on the home and the area in general, we really enjoyed their company. Overall happy with most everything, were not expecting five star accommodations and that is reflected in the price and the room.
Response from VrboOwner on 6 Mar 2020
Thank you for your review. Great to hear, that you enjoyed the kayaks and the fishing. Regarding the propane tank we have to say that, over the past few years, experiences have shown that it is much better/easier to let the guests organize to refill the propane than to call our property management every time the tank is empty. Your words show again that (at all our properties) wonderful friendships were made. Thanks again, your Florida4You-team!

Neon green rental review

We had a great time as their were multiple restaurants within walking distance. The rental home was clean and fresh on move in day. The deck in the back was perfect for basking in the sun and fishing. Nice how canoe and kayak rentals were availible.

? Island getaway?

Rental property was just ok. Rooms close together and we had ants in our room. Also one of the guests had dogs that barked all day. The management did nothing about it even though there is a no pet policy

Our Fishermen's Paradise is a complex of 4 unite with enough space for all our guests. Our tip would be to book a single-family home next time if someone needs more space/privacy. It is, unfortunately, true that other guests have received visitors with dogs, contrary to our house rules. What is wrong, however, is that we did not take action against this. The guests probably didn't notice this completely, because the day the dogs were there was also the day of their departure.

Clean and cozy place, located right on the water and near to everything you need.

We had a wonderful time staying in the Redfish Room. We rented the canoe and took it out fishing. We caught over 90 fish over the course of several days, a couple of which we kept and had for dinner. It was a lot of fun and this place gave us a nice launching pad to do whatever we wanted to.

Response from VrboOwner on 6 Mar 2020

Response from VrboOwner on 6 Mar 2020

Response from VrboOwner on 6 Mar 2020

5 schöne Tage in Matlacha!
