The entire cabin was a delight. There was Comfortable beds, clean, well appointed, great towels, and nice touch was the stocked coffee/tea area. Were only there overnight, wish we could stay longer..
Beautiful cabin, clean and welcoming. All amenities worked as should. It was a cold winter night but the cabin stayed warm and fireplace worked as we sat to watch Penn State wrestling on the TV. Kitchen had everything we needed to make a gourmet meal as we listened to the record player. Wish we had more time to stay and relax longer. Would definitely recommend.
Bathroom and kitchen were very modern and that was wonderful. The cabin was decorated with so many beautiful antiques that really brought out the time period of the place.
We stayed at this beautiful log cabin tucked away in the woods, and it was absolutely perfect. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and truly felt like home, with plenty of room for everyone. The front porch swing was such a nice touch, and the back porch was amazing, the perfect place to sit and relax while listening to the peaceful sound of the stream behind the cabin. We were in town for our daughter’s cheer competition in Johnstown, about a 20-minute drive, and it was completely worth it. Staying here was far better than booking a hotel. The host was wonderful and very responsive, with quick and friendly communication throughout our stay. We had a great experience and would absolutely recommend this cabin 10 out of 10!
This please was perfect for my quite little vacation away from work. My husband and I stayed the whole time, my two brothers came up for one night. The place is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. I definitely will be going back!!!
My family loves this cabin! There is something about it that is difficult to describe, but you feel it as soon as you walk in the door. Wonderful original details, thoughtful provisioning, the way the light moves through the space; it just feels really good to be there! The game room, the record player, and the well stocked kitchen provide plenty to do even if you never venture out, but there’s quite a bit to do in the area year-round including some beautiful hikes very close by. The space is always clean and cozy, with extra blankets and big cushy towels for everyone. You can tell a lot of love has gone into the furnishings and art because they feel just right in the space. Would highly recommend booking! We are looking forward to coming back ourselves as soon as we can.
We loved our stay at this adorable, clean and comfortable cabin. The house and property are beautiful and it is close to several state parks. Highly recommend!
Charming cabin built in 1930 was immaculate. It's clear, the host has put thought and attention into every detail from choice of furnishings to appropriate seasonal decor. The original construction and history of the building is well preserved, with a modern kitchen and bathrooms. Grounds were well kept and we enjoyed our time outdoors- meandering through the woods on the property, evening fires, and quiet time on the front porch swing. This little haven far exceeded our expectations and our stay was more peaceful and relaxing than we could have imagined.
Lovely location, secluded in the forested mountains but still close to restaurants and shopping/recreation areas. Top notch staycation destination, with updated interiors that do not leave you wanting.
Absolutely loved this cabin!!! Sparkling clean, plenty of fresh towels and paper products, comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen. Above all an extremely pleasant outdoor space! Location is superb for enjoying the Laurel Highlands. Would definitely stay here again. Such a beautiful place and pleasant environment
