We enjoyed our stay in this quiet neighborhood. The house had all the amenities we needed and was very clean.

Thank you for your positive review. We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay, even the neighbors! We would love to host you again in the future!
Overall, the property was very nice, but the front steps were uneven and both my sister and I tripped coming into the house. My sister scraped herself up quite badly. You may want to consider getting the steps fixed or at least putting up a handrail for the steps.
Enjoyed the character of the home and hearing the sound of church bells in the distance. Loved the convenient parking options. Jeffrey is quick to respond to questions. We would stay again!
The place was lovely. I was only blocks from the parade route, so the doggo and I got to enjoy some of the festivities. It was close to the dog park and the neighborhood is lovely to walk any time of day. The house had warm lighting (important to me), comfy pillows and a beautiful backyard. I'm not sure if this is mentioned in the notes for the house, but the only bathroom was on the main level (makes sense, just caught me off guard). I'd stay again!
Home was as presented.
Tidy, cute, clean with clean towels/linens and comfy bed and old world character.
We walked each day to the historic district which had shops, restaurants and pubs. Interesting old neighborhood with lots of history and charm.
Jeff , our host was very communicative.
Easy check in/check out.
Really appealing, quaint property 15 mins easy walk from Main Street. Lots of character- antique furniture, squeaky floors and a scary basement! Be aware that the bathroom is downstairs so you may need to navigate steep stairs at night. There is also not a dishwasher. (Hence not a 5 star review) Nice little patio and lovely neighbourhood. Overall, very much enjoyed our stay
The location of this property was the best characteristic for us - it was only a mile from the main area of Main street in downtown, or less than a 20 minute walk. Loved this! We had a vehicle, but the area is quiet and nice for walking. The outdoor patio was also cute and it has plenty of parking. Felt very safe.
I think others mentioned the bathroom being on the first floor and the bedrooms on the 2nd. While a tad awkward, we knew this when booking and it was not an issue for us. Kitchen was pretty well stocked. Coffee was appreciated.
As far as the cleanliness, it is an old house and could use some more love and time put into it. The high traffic areas seemed clean - new linens, etc. and kitchen was clean, but there were cobwebs on occasional walls, dead bugs in light fixtures, very dusty/dirty window sills, and places that a deeper clean would fix easily. There was also a good amount of peeling and scratched paint, just showing that the property did not have a lot of energy put into maintenance. We were there for a full week, so these things were more noticeable than if it had just been a night or two.
Communication from the management company was prompt, but not always helpful. For instance, half way through the stay (let's say Weds) I asked if we could check out at noon instead of 10 am. We were asked to follow up multiple times and ultimately did not receive an affirmative answer until the evening before. It was fine, but felt disorganized.
Otherwise, good stay

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness
Not clean or maintained. Charming character.
I'm not a clean freak, or a jerk, but I do expect a rental property to be clean and properly maintained for more than a nice hotel. This property was neither clean nor maintained.
We notified the property manager, they were responsive, offered to clean while we were there, but that would have been too disruptive.
Charm and character if the house and neighborhood are wonderful, the location is great, the backyard is nice. However, all of these great features are overshadowed by the lack of cleanliness and maintenance.
There was a bag of garbage on the back porch when we arrived. Kitchen cabinets are yellow on the inside and dirty on the outside. Baseboards, trim, door casing and doors were dirty and dusty. Baseboards in the kitchen were especially disgusting. Smoke detector in the kitchen is missing. Bathroom was dirty, dust and hair on the floor and walls. A window blind in the dining room is missing. Window along the stair is broken and filled with spray foam. Refrigerator/Freezer was not clean.
Very disappointing for our stay, hopefully they take this feedback and do better. The property has potential to be nice if it was clean and properly maintained.
I was very happy with this rental. It’s a lovely historic home. Enjoyed going to see the holiday lights and festivities on Main Street. House was clean and host checked in frequently.
Great location, well stocked, comfy beds and linens, great outdoor space. Host was very attentive, easiest check in and check out I have experienced with a vrbo property
