About the host
Hosted by Vivian Poole

I am a retired opera singer and lover of Labrador Retrievers. I have been coming to Serene Lakes with my family since the late 1960's. Those are my parents in the hallway photo out in the middle of the lake. The cabin was built in 1995 and recently totally updated. I love coming up, especially in the summertime, to simply be in the mountains and get away from the bustle of the Bay Area. Skiing, swimming, hiking, fishing, what more could you ask for? It is truly my happy place and hope it will be yours too.
