A little town on a big lake

We loved our stay at Nancy and Ken's house on Lake Androscoggin. The house and setting were beautiful, and the town of Wayne is picture-book perfect small town New England. We enjoyed kayaking and swimming in the lake from the rocky beach at the back of the house. It was a bit tricky to get into the lake due to its being historically high from all the rains in June and July making the small dock difficult to use. But the yacht club (small "y"), provided an easier entry for our grandson and was walking distance from the house. Nancy and Ken were perfect, responsive hosts and provided ongoing advice and suggestions through out our 3-week stay. Friends who visited with us are lining up to have some time there in the future.

Fantastic Lake House on a private cove

Wonderful home on a very private plot at the end of a cove. Situated right near (5 minute walk) Wayne Village, which is a charming little village with a great general store and ice cream shop. This was an absolutely perfect spot for a summer get-away!
