It was perfect! We were very lucky to have the great weather, and the beach was right there! I’ve never felt so relaxed. The cottage was very clean and well-stocked with the pots and pans we needed, as well as beach chairs that we weren’t expecting.The only thing I would suggest for improvement is the lack of air conditioning. I recommend installing an AC unit in the living room.

nice place but poor communication about criminal activity

While we were staying in our property, one afternoon another rental unit was raided by the state and local police, and an adult male was taken into custody. we later found out that the man was charged with several crimes including sexual assault of a minor. the man bonded out and was back on the property the next day. we did not know the reason for his arrest until the last night of our stay, when one of our neighbors said they received an Email from VRBO management informing them of the situation and the crimes the man was charged with. We never received any notice or email from VBRO or property management, informing us of the situation. this was disappointing, since we are also VRBO regulars.
