We stayed for several days in winter and loved the lake house. The fire place kept it so cozy and warm. The shops and nearby towns felt super welcoming and the scenery was so peaceful.
We had a great stay at the Chalet. The home itself was well appointed and in a quiet neighbourhood. We visited during the fall foliage and it was beautiful. Highly recommend for a weekend get-away
the home was so beautiful, Jaclyn was incredibly responsive and we had a lovely fire every night. We used the kayaks to paddle around the lake at sunset too!
We had a lovely 2 week stay! Jaclyn was very helpful and the place is cozy and comfortable. The view is spectacular and exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely consider starting here again, if we get up to the Berkshires again.
Our stay was great. The property was extremely clean and the host was absolutely amazing. The property is located on a pond which we could kayak and do some fishing. Just sitting on the beautiful deck overlooking the pond was relaxing. The property offered exactly what we were looking for for this trip.

The house at longbow lake was very very clean and well organized and the house and property as well as lake were all beautiful. Jaclyn was very welcoming and very helpful with anything we needed
The location was great. Very peaceful. Not far from Lee, Lenox or Great Barrington.
The house was very cute and as described.
Will absolutely stay again.

I'm so happy you had such a wonderful stay, Rachael! I hope you come back again soon! :)
I was very pleased with my accommodations. Our host was very communicative with us. Location was great, near enough to everything we wanted to get to but far enough from the crowds.
I would highly recommend this property.
Had a great time at the Becket property! Our dog loved the snow and taking walks among all the lakes. Would love to see it in the summertime! Extremely quiet and private but just a 6 minute drive to town of Lee where there were some nice restaurants and the famous outlet center where we were able to do some holiday shopping. About 15 minutes further to get to the ski resorts and other areas of interest in Mass. There wasn’t a gym as listed in the description but come to find out that’s a technical glitch the owner is trying to correct. Owner was very helpful and answered all our questions. Tried to upload some photos but didn’t work! Thanks for a great time!

I’m so happy you had such a wonderful stay, Denise! I hope you come back again in the future, you were wonderful guests!
We needed a home base for a weekend of Tanglewood concerts, and Jaclyn’s place was perfect. It was very clean and comfortable, and Jaclyn was super hospitable and very responsive to our questions.
We had a great time. The house was clean and well equipped. The location was perfect. Peaceful and quiet with an excellent view of the water and lots of options to sit and read while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Our dogs had a great time too we took many long walks and they played at the beach area. The house is close to the outlets for a little bit of shopping too.
My husband and I along with our dog stayed for 3 nights. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the sounds of nature. My husband brought his paddle boat and did some fishing. The house is well maintained. Beautiful view sitting on the back deck. Jaclyn was very informative. We will definitely be back.
This cozy house had it all! Beautiful views over looking the lake! Plenty of private property to let the dog hang out! House had a cozy wood burning stove. Perfect amenities inside the house! Everything seemed to be perfectly placed inside the home ! Not too far from everything! The host was great to communicate with. We are looking forward to go back as a family.
My husband and our small dog and I had a restful and restorative week at Jaclyn’s house. The cottage is old-fashioned and charming — think grandma’s house, not the Four Seasons. Bathrooms are smallish, there’s no dishwasher and the freestanding a/c units did their best in the July heatwave (one bedroom stayed very cool while the one with the king sized bed and the lakefront view was warmer). The other big issue is that the lake, while pretty, is too shallow and muddy for swimming and you can kayak end to end in five minutes. We took a lot of pretty picture and loved sitting on the dock and meeting the ducks!
What this property has going for it is its location. You won’t see neighbors or hear anything but birds and frogs and the wind in the trees. It was peaceful and private while also a short drive from Tanglewood, the Stockbridge Bowl (which is great for swimming and kayaking) and all the great hiking and cute small towns that make the Berkshires so appealing. The beds were comfy, the grounds were pretty, and if you’re not expecting modern resort luxury, you’ll be very happy on Longbow Lake.

Thank you for the 5-star detailed review, Jennifer! I think that is a great description of the Little Longbow Chalet. Those looking for a modern luxury resort should probably look elsewhere because that is not the vibe here. This is my happy place where I escape city living and modern luxuries. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you come back again in the future! :)
My husband, dog and I had a Monday-Friday stay at Jaclyn's house on the water. We wanted a place that felt private but wasn't far from grocery stores, restaurants, and hiking. This place delivered! We did go out for a paddle on the little pond and saw some little fish and freshwater clam shells broken by a hungry creature. The swimming area is a 5 minute walk from the house. I sat out by the water to read in the shade and the sitting area is lovely and there were no bugs. They seem to spray the neighborhood with a garlic based mosquito deterrent and it works well.
The neighborhood is super quiet (hardly any cars) and a great place to walk your dog for miles, very safe. Google maps is helpful to orient yourself. There is a great yard area if you trust your dog off leash.
The house was very clean and well stocked with everything you need. Even a real coffee pot! The outside landscaping area is beautiful. You can hear the hum from Route 20 when you are outside but it dies down in the late afternoon and you can't hear it inside. Lots of hot water and nice towels!
Don't miss Rose's Restaurant in Lee for a fabulous breakfast!!
