Property itself was very nice and would make sense for a larger group. The hot tub was a main reason we chose this property over others in SW MI. The upstairs bed was very comfortable. A doorless primary bathroom is an interesting design decision, but the shower was very nice. In all, about the property, the only real qualm I had was that the outdoor lights (outside the kitchen) didn't seem to work. I wonder if the breaker just needed to be switched off/on.
We arrived after sunset and had no idea where on the property the hot tub was located. The lack of functioning outdoor light to illuminate the route to the hot tub made our initial attempt impractical due to how dark it was outside. It was raining also, so a cell phone flashlight proved pretty useless. When I emailed asking how to get these lights on, I don't think my question was comprehended/addressed. The verbatim email finisher of "Hot tub, is literally one button..." felt pretty condescending.
There were a couple of communication hiccups around late checkout. It also felt a little weird that there was a sign in the house to enjoy the snacks and wine... but there were no snacks or wine.
