Beautiful Apartment in the Historic City Centre of Florence

The apartment is at the first floor of a beautiful building. The house is charming and elegant. The 2 bedrooms are very cozy and a great deal of attention to details was paid. The apartment has 2 double bedrooms, one living room with DVD Player, decoder for the international channels and a LCD TV, one independent fully equipped kitchen, one bathroom. In the living room there is a double sofa bed. In the entrance of the apartment there is a furnished cupboard where our guests can find all necessary items for tasting Italian wine. In the cupboard you can find also many maps and itineraries of Florence and other useful information to visit Florence. The apartment has two balconies on a quiet garden area.

The house is located in the historic city centre of Florence, in the historic region of 'San Frediano'. From the house you can reach by foot all the important place of the city centre of Florence (Boboli garden 400 mts, Pitti Palace 500 mts, Ponte Vecchio 900 mts away from our property). If you don't want to go walking to the town, the bus stop is at only 50 mts from the house, the bus will carry you in the Florence's medieval town in 3'. The most elegant shopping streets in Florence, with stores selling antiques, jewelry, leather, linen, groceries, pastries, are all within easy walking distance. There is also a very big supermarket 300 mts away from the property.

Apartment was very nice and well stocked for our stay. Self check in worked well. Kitchen was well stocked to cook simple meals at home. Location was fantastic for visits to Vatican City and walkable to Pantheon and Colloseum, although it is a long walk. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here on your visit to Rome.

We really enjoyed our stay at the property, the apartment was clean and as described. We like quieter areas and the property was close enough to museums and attractions that we could walk yet when returning from a day in Florence we left the busy area and were walking on quiet streets.

Absolutely stunning place

The decor aside this spot in the city was so so beautiful. My family loved all the amenities and how smooth the check in and check out process was. My sisters and I were looking for the night life and staying here we were close to some of the most local places that made the stay so wonderful. Great little place in Florence!

Loved the apt, very spacious, there are a couple flights of stairs, and only downside was it was a little away from things, but a quick 10-15 min walk and youre in the middle of everything. Big grocery store close by which was handy. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The apt itself was perfect. Spacious, a/cs that worked great, this vrbo had everything, esp in the kitchen! Beds were pretty comfy. Kids beds were a little a springy but not horrible. Would definitely stay again!

Florence vacation

This place is in a perfect location if you want to be able to walk to everything. You stay on the more local side of the river. There were so many places to eat and drink. The place is exactly as pictured. Unfortunately I didn't pay much attention to the description when booking. I was looking for a two bedroom two bathroom and this place only had one bathroom. The VRBO listing shows it as two bathroom. Other then that we were very happy with our stay.

Quaint little villa about one mile from train station. The unit was a bit dated for me but it was clean and neat and had everything we needed. Neighborhood was fairly quiet. Alessandro (host) was wonderful as I did not notice the attachment he sent directing us how to check in. I emailed him and he was quick to send a response. We appreciated all the space we had. We’re in a villa in Tuscany now and my husband misses the space we had in Florence. If we return to Florence we would consider staying here again.

Life outside the wall is great

Our family of 4 found this location exceeded all our expectations. If you are more into being slightly of the tourist action this neighbourhood will fit your needs Within walking distance of all the sites our walks to the centre and palace Pitti were less than 30 minutes on a flat walk . Most of the walk to the centre of Florence are along the river with beautiful views of sunsets or ponte Vechio . The local neighbourhood features restaurants cafes , fresh markets less than 5 minutes away Parking in the blue zone meter costs 24 Euros a day if you are not moving your car or 2 euros per hour Alessandro provides quick responses and detailed messages on self check in and answered all our question accurately Great place as it is large and spacious and you can even watch turtles in the back yard

It's the ideal place to stay for anyone wanting to be away from the crowds and mobs of tourists, but within a quick and easy walk of all of the well-known sights and treasures. The apt is located close to the acient wall of the historic city centre. All the rooms are very spacious and at the same floor.

Comfortable: supermarkets (2) within a 5-10 minute walk (and the farther one - Esselunga -- has HOME DELIVERY - see their web site). Restaurant (Sabatino, Tranvai, Antica Bettola) 5 minute walk.
