The house was clean, warm, and welcoming. It is in a very private setting in the woods, but a very easy walk to local stores, dollar tree, or a nice local brewery. We had a great time sitting by the fire and in the hot tub with the sound of the creek behind us, the kids even enjoyed a little swim. The creek is only about a foot at the deepest, so it was a short swim, but they enjoyed it!
The house was thoughtfully appointed. The hot tub, hammock, fire pit and creek created a dream environment. We loved the location, being able to walk to downtown so easily. The host was very responsive. House was clean. This place is a treasure not to be overlooked! Book it!
Heather, our host, was wonderful! She reached out to make sure our stay was going well, and she was very friendly. The cabin was awesome. Very private. We booked her place because it was right next to a creek, which was so relaxing! The cabin was great and just the right size for 3 of us to have a comfortable stay. We hope to be back in the summertime so that my daughter can enjoy playing in the creek!
We enjoyed the attention to detail and the easy walk to town in this quaint cabin that is exactly as advertised, and a great choice for a small family. We would certainly stay here again.
The cottage was perfect. It is furnished with everything you can think of and more. We used the hot tub and roasted marshmallows over the fire pit. I truly enjoyed the easy walk into town.
My husband and I both really enjoyed our time at this house. It was a perfect retreat from a busy week. The house was very clean and very peaceful. The space near the creek was a wonderful place to sit and reenergize. And Heather quickly responded when we had a question.
Great place to spend time too get away from it all. Loved that it was walking distance to downtown Clayton, which has plenty of shopping and places to eat. The house has a beautiful outdoor area, but wish it would have had a gas bbq grill. Definitely will be going back.
We came to Clayton to do lots of hiking so we didn’t stay at the cabin a lot but the location was great. On the creek in the woods but seconds away from downtown Clayton to grab smoke diner
Highly recommend this house! It had everything we needed and more! We were comfortable, had a lovely, peaceful view, and everything is well organized and stocked!
What a beautiful property. It really is quiet and secluded despite being right in Clayton. Thoughtful amenities and the bed was so comfortable. The fire pit is right next to the creek. The street is quiet and the property is so shady. The hot tub is the perfect place to listen to nature. Loved the outdoor seating on the front for reading in the early morning. Check in is super easy and the host is great. Hope to return some day soon!
This is a lovely property. Home feels so secluded, but is close to everything. We stayed here and had acess to rafting, hiking, shopping, We had a great stay. Would stay again. reandrestaurants etc. etc. I would
The property was as described and the owner was very responsive. The cabin was so cute and relaxing on the creek. Loved sitting on the deck listening to the sound of water and soaking in the hot tub. It is within easy walking distance to the local brewery and downtown restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay again!
It was a perfect weekend escape. The location was quiet and you felt removed from the world but you were only moments away from everything. The property had everything you needed. The outside landscaping was almost magical. We will definitely return for another stay!
The property was very well kept. Very clean. Decorated nicely. The only downside was no coffee maker. But luckily there are many places to get a coffee early in the am nearby

Thanks for the review! I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. I’m a little confused about the coffee maker? We have a single serve coffee pot and a French press. I also provide coffee and creamer. I’m sorry you missed that. Please reach out next time, so I can help!
Everything about this place is amazing! It's the cleanest, most well appointed place I've ever stayed in. The location is great and the scenery is not to be beat. Heather is on top of her game with communication. We had everything we needed to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Hoping to come back again soon!
This cabin had everything needed to enjoy the mountains. It is as described in the photos and has a nice feel to it. There is plenty of outdoor space to enjoy with lighting that makes nights even more enjoyable. A variety of hikes are a short drive away. When the hiking is done, shopping and dinning are less than a mile from the cabin.
We really enjoyed both the cabin and close proximity to town. We would stay here again.

Why they chose this property
We just purchased Creekside in May of 2022. When we saw the listing come up, we knew this was unique and special. It sits so close to the creek you can hear the sounds. You feel completely secluded while enjoying the firepit Creekside, but in reality, you are only a short walk to downtown Clayton. We simply love it, and all the area has to offer!
