Top-floor penthouse with elevator: 1 Bedroom with 2 full baths, elegant modern kitchen with pantry, dishwasher and to-die-for terrace (450 sq ft) with prime ocean and winter whale watching views. Top-Floor Privacy with high ceilings. Ideal for couples that want to have their own bathrooms. Living room has a pullout sofa for an additional adult or two small children (12 and under).

Casa Del MarPhase ll is a small, gated complex with excellent 24-hour security, a large pool and hot tub, as well as a kiddie pool with ocean views. There is also a tennis court.
Additionally, guests gain access (not signing privileges or discounts) to adjacent Zoetry Hotel Casa Del Mar, where you can access 6 more swimming pools, 2 additional hot tubs, three restaurants and pool and elegant evening bars.

The views are great from the large outdoor patio. Accommodations in the residence are fantastic as well. Very comfortable bed! And the hosts Gerrardo & John are fantastic as well.

Amazing Stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property. The large balcony area is wonderful. The unit is well equipped and the bed is very comfortable. The location is perfect for going to San Jose and Cabo San Lucas. Nothing lacking…can’t imagine a better place to stay in Los Cabos.

Beautiful ocean view condo

Outstanding condo with great communication from hosts. The condo was actually better in person than advertised. Gorgeous ocean view from veranda where we are many meals. Pools were great. Perfect location - easy access to San Jose and Cabo. We will definitely stay here again!

Everything you need for a relaxing vacation is here. Spacious and quiet, comfortable bed and sofas. And of course the views from the large patio are stunning! Kitchen was well equipped and communication between the host was quick. We really liked Sr. Pez beach restaurant which is a quick walk in the sand right off our pool. Good margaritas and fish tacos and tuna sushi rolls that were so satisfying. More reasonably priced than the hotel Zoetry's prices. We ate ( and drank margaritas )in a lot, thanks to the convenient Fresko on Highway one, about 10 minutes away. They have delicious rotisserie chickens! Also - the Shops at Pamilla have a lovely Farmers Market on Friday mornings starting at 10. There is a larger Organic Market in SJD on Saturday mornings that we missed this year. We did have a rental car and went into San Jose Del Cabo a couple of times - this is our 10th year and SJD remains the same, thankfully. I'd highly recommend the Taco Tour that you can book on Viator or a spectacular cooking class with Francisco in his home both in SJD. And if you want authentic Mexican pottery and glassware and more without paying a fortune, check out Artisanos just outside of San Lucas on Highway One. We purchased 4 plates and a glass heart this year.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful and the unit is great. Well appointed and very comfortable. Probably the best views of the pool and ocean of any of the units here. It’s easy to get transportation to regional attractions if you don’t have a car. Would highly recommend this property.

Cabo getaway

Gerardo’s condo is very well stocked with lovely furnishings and artwork.Although not directly on the oceanfront, the views are beautiful over gorgeous landscaped grounds down to the beach and ocean with beautiful sunsets. Gerardo was easy to deal with and very helpful and honest.

This condo is perfect for a couple! The views are amazing! We enjoyed the Zoetry pool and amenities. Condo was even better than the photos!! John and Gerardo were great hosts, quick communication and answered any questions we had, highly recommend staying here! They also provided us with restaurant recommendations and tips! Perfect location between Cabo and San Jose. Grocery store located just 3.5 miles away. Definitely would love to stay again!

Best condo for 2 at Casa Del Mar

We stay at a 3 bedroom condo at Casa Del Mar 3 - 6 weeks a year. We rented this one bedroom to fill a week book-ended by our stay at the usual condo. This condo is ideal for 2 persons. It has a magnificent view and a terrace with roof. It has excellent wifi, extensive TV choices, fully-equipped kitchen, etc., etc. What's not to like?

Getaway

Great location in Phase Two at Casa del Mar. The grounds are always abundantly full of color. The unit is spotless inside. Kitchen is well equiped. The outdoor veranda overlooks a largely underused and quiet pool/spa. I didn’t use the grill but was glad to know it’s ready to go. Looking forward to returning!

Relaxing Stay

We had a super relaxing vacation at this condo. It's clean, well stocked, and the prefect size for a couple. Two bathrooms is a nice bonus as well. The real star is the huge patio with a view of the ocean. We sat out there every morning & night enjoying the breeze and the view. The giant heated pool was also great. It was the perfect temperature and nearly empty every day. This was a very peaceful and quiet property overall. Just what we were looking for. Gerardo & John were excellent hosts/owners and very helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Gotta Love Top Floor, Oceanfront View

This was a great place for my wife and me. Perfect size for a couple. The covered beachfront terrace was the star of the show. The second bath was a most welcome addition. The elevator was also greatly appreciated. Bonus #1: Access to the wonderful amenities of the adjacent Zoetry Resort. Bonus #2: Next door to other amazing resorts such as Las Ventanas and the Hilton, giving you even more excellent restaurant options. Bonus #3: Just 15 minutes from downtown San Jose and 30 minutes from the airport. This place really has everything going for it. Beachfront, floorplan, quality, amenities, location, and cost. The owners were timely in all communications. Highly recommended.

Oasis in the Sun

Such a great spot! Gerardo and John were such great hosts and the complex is gorgeous. The pool is fantastic. The suite has everything you would need and has a great view of the pool and the ocean. We spent so much time on the covered deck as it was so well laid out. The unit has ac but we found we did not need it as the crossflow was so good. We used uber when we did go out which worked ok but if not comfortable with that best to rent a car as groceries etc are to far to walk. It was a great VRBO experience.

Epitome of Relaxation

John and Gerardo were the perfect hosts with their perfect condo. Location within Casa Del Mar could not be better. Faced the pool and the ocean, from the 4th floor balcony. We whale watched and ate breakfast on the balcony every day. Everything that was needed to cook was there, if you choose not to go out to eat. Decor was lovely with beautiful, tasteful Mexican art. We felt 100% safe, too. 2 security gates to go through to get to the complex, and present but unobtrusive security guards around. The owners respond very quickly to requests for recommendations, and their recommendations were spot on. We will be back.I would say this complex is much better for adults than kids since we saw only 1 child I. The week that we were there.

Beautiful Area

We enjoyed the location and facilities at Casa del Mar Zoetry. The unit itself was lovely and lived up to expectations from the photos, although a few important amenities were in disrepair upon our arrival (A/C unit in bedroom and an overhead fan in the living room). Our booking process with the host was straightforward and he was quick to respond to several issues during our stay, such as having the AC and fan looked at (although neither were fixed during our stay) and letting us back in the unit when the front door key pad died while were out for dinner. Although we enjoyed the unit and found it comfortable, we encountered a number of inconveniences, and an additional situation which resulted in a very unpleasant financial dispute with the host. Unfortunately, this situation drastically affected our enjoyment of the trip and we were extremely disappointed in the outcome, even upon escalation/mediation through VRBO. I would rate the unit itself highly, however, I would not stay in a unit owned/managed by this host again.

Hi Claire; Your review comes as no surprise to me. The inconveniences that you mention are all well documented on record, as they are recorded on tape and could also easily be transcribed. We can re-play them for you to refresh your memory if you like, to remind you of what really transpired. This would expose your poor behavior and unwillingness to follow the rules. It would appear that you are missing the point; the dispute that scaled up to VRBO mediation was the result of the damage that you caused, affecting not only my property, but third parties as well. For that reason, you are no longer welcome at our home or at Casa Del Mar.

Why they chose this property

This is a one-of-a-kind property. The penthouse position gives high ceilings, and the terrace is arguably one of the best on this stretch of coast - it is wide and large, providing the ultimate in indoor outdoor living. As well, the master bedroom is big, but the best indoor feature, perhaps, is the pair of full baths that allow couples ultimate privacy. The renovated kitchen is small but super kush and has almost everything.

What makes this property unique

We are located in Casa Del Mar Phase ll, which is located beside Zoetry Casa Del Mar Hotel. Guests of our condominium enjoy open access to Zoetry's six additional pools and two hot tubs, three restaruants, including a poolside grill and a beachfront fine dining room, and two dedicated bars are also available.
