Located in Indianapolis' premier residential & retail area. The guest cottage is nestled within our home’s peaceful one acre garden and is only minutes from downtown and Carmel.
The 700 square foot guest cottage is a freestanding, fully independent building with private, fenced patio and dedicated parking.
THE LOCATION:
We are just 7 minutes to Broad Ripple, 15 minutes down Meridian Street to Downtown, 10 minutes to Carmel, 20 minutes to Westfield's Grand Park, 5 minutes to the 465, Monon walking & biking trail, and Whole Foods plaza with many retail & restaurant choices.

The cottage has a beautiful setting in peaceful neighborhood with old trees. You feel one with nature, in fact a deer roamed through the yard on Sunday morning. The cottage is furnished very nicely and is comfortable. Claudia was very responsive and recommended some great restaurants. We will stay here again when we are back in Indy.

This place is absolutely AMAZING and gorgeous . You will not regret staying here. Everything you would need, they supply. My daughter absolutely loved the coffee bar. It is in a safe neighborhood but just minutes from all things Indianapolis, Zionsville, Carmel, etc. It really is in a perfect location.

Cute cottage ,lots of great cooking supplies, comfortable bed and adequate internet. Did not care for parking situation (sometimes other people parked in our designated spot) , overgrown hostas along walkway, shower is cramped and a mild snafu with check-in which was addressed.

Cozy cottage

We enjoyed our stay in Indianapolis/Carmel area. Cottage was in a wonderful spot. The grounds were beautiful and the cottage was also. The hosts provided everything some one would need for their stay and were very accommodating.

Very nice guest house and neighborhood

The guest house was very nice and accurate to description. We very much enjoyed the outdoor space. The setting was very nice along with the general neighborhood. Nice parks, restaurants and shopping nearby. We will definitely go back!

My husband and I loved our relaxed stay away from everyone. Although this was in a subdivision it was secluded enough for us to feel alone! Great comfortable bed and couch! Close to little downtown shops and big city amenities! Thanks for a wonderful time!!

A Little Slice Of Heaven

The cottage setting is spectacular! I love the neighborhood and proximity to downtown and the northern suburbs. Super quick drive to the 96th Street Monon Trailhead. I enjoyed my 3 week stay immensely and can’t wait to stay again. Thank you Claudia!

Absolutely Wonderful Getaway!

The Pink Elephant Cottage was even better than we imagined. The décor was lovely, and the cottage has great amenities. We had a quiet breakfast on the patio in back. The community of Carmel is nice and the drive into Indy on Meridian Dr. with its historic homes was fun. The owner Claudia was very nice and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a getaway in Indianapolis, you can't miss with this place.

Loved everything about this cottage, great communication with the owner, excellent location for our needs, all amenities were available, and this is such a great place, I hate to tell anybody because I don't want it to be booked when I want to come back to visit! If you need a place to stay in Indy....this Pink Elephant is the winner. We will never stay in a hotel there again.

Clean and Cozy

This was a great place to stay for our weekend trip to Purdue. It was only about an hour from campus and was very convenient to get on the highway. The unit was super cute and cozy, while still being very functional! It has many thoughtful touches and decor. The host was easy to communicate with and provided very clear instructions for everything.

Very nice getaway. Our only complaint is that the walk from where are you park and the getaway cottage was on stones not a solid sidewalk and my husband is disabled. It was a little hard for him to maneuver, but other than that we would go back.

Perfect Carmel Cottage

Just had the best stay this garden cottage in Carmel, IN, with my 13 year old niece. She lives in the area and I am from Cleveland so I chose the cottage for a special girls getaway. It is a darling space, decorated beautifully and has everything you need to more than comfortably enjoy your stay. The grounds are beautiful, great photo opportunity! The hosts, Steve and Claudia, couldn't have been more accommodating. We will definitely be back and I would recommend the cottage to anyone traveling to the Indianapolis area. My niece and I were both sad to close the door and say goodbye!

Beautiful Property with sewage in shower

The host was very professional until three days into the five-night stay, when the toilet was flushed, sewage was expelled into the shower drain, the bathroom became inoperable, and the smell was overwhelming. If the host had responded immediately to the emergency and taken action, there may have been a different outcome. Hotel options were very limited because a five-state Regional Gymnastics Championship was scheduled that weekend. The host refunded less than the 2 days that the property was unable to be occupied. Better compensation should have occurred.

The Pink Elephant Cottage was absolutely perfect. It was a piece of paradise in a beautiful part of Indy nestled amongst a delightful garden and underneath gorgeous, old trees and just a couple minutes to 465 and Meridian. Our dog loved the back patio as well as the neighborhood, too, especially the sweet dog post with treats. Our time there was way too short, so we cannot wait to go back.

Some of the comments we've received have been how tranquil and relaxing it is to unwind in our guest house.
