The house is located six miles west of downtown Durango at a cool elevation of 7500 feet.
The 3000+ square foot house is very privately situated on 5 1/2 acres. Abundant sunshine, tall ponderosa pines and beautiful views of the La Plata mountains make this home a wonderful vacation retreat. The house has large windows and a 800 square foot covered deck to help you enjoy all the beautiful surroundings. The open floor plan, vaulted ceiling and post and beam design give this house a true Colorado mountain feel.

I designed and built this house myself in 2006. I have had it as a vacation rental since the summer of 2008. I have only had very satisfied guest to date and several return guest.
