Welcome to The Shell Beach Cottage - a quaint, cozy single-family beach home in the heart of Central Coast. We are located minutes away from Shell Beach and within walking distance to nearby restaurants, shops, and the popular Dinosaur Caves Park. 10 min drive to Pismo Beach Pier, Edna Valley (wine country), 15 mins to San Luis Obispo, and 45 mins to Solvang (Danish village nestled in the heart of Central Coast).

Single-story home with 2 bedrooms and 1 full bath. All rooms are equipped with AC (air conditioning). Situated in the heart of Central Coast, you are minutes away from the beach, great food, shopping, local artists, wine country, nature trails, children’s activities, and more. There are plenty of kayak and adventure rental shops nearby for beach activities in the summer. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets and strolls along the beach. Make splendid memories with your family in the picture-perfect front yard that comes equipped with a BBQ and gorgeous fire pit.

Bedrooms -

Spacious master bedroom with king bed and guest bedroom with queen bed. Both rooms are equipped with air conditioning, ceiling fans and have dedicated closets with a hallway linen closet for additional storage. The bathroom has a bathtub and shower combo.

Kitchen -

The kitchen comes equipped with a full gas range and oven, full-size dishwasher, Keurig, Nespresso Coffee Maker, Blender, Toaster, Refrigerator, dishes, cookware, hand mixer, and everything you require for a comfortable stay in this home away from home.

Amenities -

The cottage is equipped with high-speed internet and a smart TV to connect to all the latest apps that you enjoy watching on TV. Full-size front load washer and dryer in garage.

Additional Info -

1. Please note we ONLY accept long term rentals (30 consecutive days or more) on our property, subject to Pismo Beach Municipal code Chapter 5.22. Any requests for stays under 30 days will not be accepted.
2. There is a security camera by the front door facing the street. This is deactivated during the duration of your stay.

This cottage is perfect for a small family of up to 4-5 people or couples that seek a charming beach escape in California.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Close the windows and draw the curtains. Return all furniture to their original place. Clear the fridge of all perishables. Place stripped bed linens on floor.
Ensure the fire pit and umbrella are closes with their respective covers.
Make sure all appliances, such as the AC, is turned off. Ensure the gas range is shut on all burner knobs before leaving.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
We request guests to be considerate of the neighborhood and maintain quiet hours from 10 pm - 6 am.
Additional charges may be applied by Owner for damage repairs or to replace stolen items caused by the tenant in excess of the deposit.
Electric, gas, water, and wifi are included in the monthly rent up to $300/month. The tenant is responsible to pay any amount over.

Clean and Comfortable

This great little cottage had all the comforts of home. Kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable and the home was clean and inviting. Nice courtyard for relaxing and just an easy walk to shops and restaurants. Our host was the best of any place we have stayed. She was easy to contact and great to talk with. We look forward to visiting Shell Beach again.

Well describe, near the ocean, quiet with friendly neighbors in a "quaint and beachy" neighborhood. We found the house we'll supplied with things often missing in a rental, things such as kitchen tools, cleaning supplies and extra sheets.
