Misleading property, poor communication, additional charges and lack of working utilities

This property is a SHARED SPACE, which was not made immediately apparent by the listing. I got into Eureka late after driving all day only o discover that there were other people staying in other parts of the house. I did have a private room with a lock, but still shocking nonetheless. Then, the hot water for the shower never worked. Additionally, they were supposed to give me a private door code, but didn’t have time to, so I instead got a general door code, leading to more safety concerns as I wasn’t sure if the people already staying in the unit had the same codes as well. Upon checkout, I left at 8am, and tried to lock the door, and the key pad wouldn’t work to lock unless you manually did it from the inside. Leading to even more safety concerns.I reached out to the host several times to let them know my concerns. Initially they said they would look into a refund, and contact VRBO, but they stopped responding to me and now I have an additional charge for an extra 50 for some reason. Avoid at all costs.
