It was a fabulous house in a great location. We have 2 teen-agers, having separate sleeping areas worked well. The beds were comfortable. The amenities well stocked. They left a nice welcome package and were very responsive when we had queries. My favorite thing was enjoying a coffee at night or a drink in the evening on the patio off the master bedroom. Great place to listen to the waves crash and enjoy a sunrise / sunset.

Absolutely fabulous!

This house is amazing! It has everything you will need and then some! The views were nothing short of picturesque! We felt completely safe being in a gated community. I honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better. This is most definitely worth every penny. Can’t say enough!

Perfect spot in St. Croix!

We loved our stay at this home in Judith's Fancy. We were 4 couples so it was nice that each had their own bedroom/bathroom. Plenty of seating areas on the property - we enjoyed coffee on the side patio in the morning, hanging by the pool during the day, and drinks on the back patio at night. Always a lovely breeze! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, spices, plastic glassware for outside, etc. Only had a few issues during our stay and Deepak was quick to answer/resolve. He and Viviana provided plenty of tips and suggestions for restaurants and things to do in St. Croix. We would definitely stay at this property again! It's in a great location - only 15 minutes to downtown and a 30 min drive over to the port. Don't hesitate to book.

Best birthday ever! Fantastic house to rent in St. Croix!

We celebrated my milestone birthday with our four adult children. The house was amazing, very cool layout, separate quarters for everyone, very clean, nicely decorated, everything one would need for comfort, lounging, celebrating, cooking, tanning, partying, sleeping, and enjoying the most amazing views of the ocean with safety and privacy! We had one minor issue with electricity, Deepak was quick to answer and guide us how to use the generator for just a brief time. Electricity came back on in no time! If you are considering renting this fabulous house, just do it! It was well worth the money, and the privacy was much needed from our busy lives. We all had the best time and loved every minute of staying there!

Girls' Trip

Our group of older women consisted of first time flyers, first time ocean seers, seasoned travelers and a fresh slip on the ice, fractured kneecap brace wearing/icing patient. Some of us were meeting each other for the first time as sisters of friends came. So, knowing the dynamics of our group, the house was PERFECT! The house had adequate space for all of us to hang out together and eat a meal at the dining room table. Also, with the separate locations of the bedrooms; two on the main floor were far enough apart so that it was more private and quiet. The lower level suite was more for our abled walkers as it was downstairs, outdoors. The two bed suite was perfect for the sisters to be "alone together "and catch up as sisters should. We all felt very safe and were able to relax during our stay at this beautiful home. The pool and views were an added bonus. Thanks for sharing your home. We would be happy to stay here again.

Loved Every Minute

Wow!!! An absolute island paradise 🏝 from the beginning to the end, the house was absolutely fantastic!! And don’t forget the view. Everything you need and then some - you should definitely book this house! We had a family reunion and this place was absolutely perfect. There were 9 of us and there was plenty of space plus separate space. 2 bedrooms 2 1/2 baths in the main house, an apartment below with it’s own kitchenette, plus a cottage with it’s own private bath. Your own private pool and it was super easy getting to downtown Christiansted. This home was just epic, you could easily just stay here the whole time and enjoy your very own sanctuary. The trade winds here really helped keep you cooler on those hot days and night swimming was an absolute must. Michelle and Matt were just amazing, they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay and they are incredibly quick and responsive. We will absolutely stay here again when we come back - thank you for everything!!

Family Easter Trip

While the view is spectacular, and Michelle the hostess is wonderful, I would not consider this a 5star home. The amenities were severely lacking, no pack-n-play, the pillows were not good at all, Only 2 towels per bathroom, and only 3 laundry detergent packets, so we were expected to continually reuse all the bathroom towels, in addition to the beach towels, but were not supplied with enough laundry soad to wash things regularly. For the price we paid, simple things like this should be provided. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the showers was lovely though. When we arrived the A/c in the cottage was not working, and they promptly came out to fix it, which was great! We also didn't have hot water in 2 of the 3 bathrooms, but I did not contact the host about this as I did not feel it was a huge deal, we just all used the one hot shower. There were also lots of ants/bugs in the house especially the bathrooms, which I know can be expected but little ant bait traps set throughout would help with this. All in all, this is a great house, just overpriced for what you are getting.

I am originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I was always driven to city life until I came to St. Croix about 22 years ago! I choose Judith’s Fancy because living here is a true paradise, security 24/7, best roads to bike, walk, hike, and also with access to the beach. We are centrally located between Christiansted and Frederiksted, the two most important towns on island. I always enjoyed architecture and property management, and now doing vacation rentals, I plunged myself in the best part of it which is hospitality.

Why they chose this property

This oceanfront home was built by a famous architect John Randall McDonald. The property is a true statement of a fortress in the Caribbean Sea. The home is located in Judith’s Fancy, a gated community on St. Croix's north shore. You can enjoy from all rooms in the home the gorgeous views of the ocean, and watch the waves, sail boats, turtles, whales, and pelicans enjoying a plunge in the water. Just half mile from the property there is a beach access where you can find turtles hatching in their season, a one-of-a kind event to observe.

St. Croix is the largest of the US Virgin Islands, with less traffic compared to St. Thomas, and with more activities compared to St. John. The island offers water sports such as scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, sailing, kayaking, surfing, and kite-surfing, with numerous beaches to explore. St. Croix became one of the ultimate places to plan your dream wedding in the Caribbean. Historically the island was part of Denmark and still you can walk streets with Danish names and exquisite architecture. It is a true trip in history.
