Brilliant Southside Home on 2 Acre Park + Pet Friendly

Enjoy the best of Southside restaurants and downtown attractions within walking distance from Chattanooga’s first LEED certified home.
Sustainable + Efficient design across the street from park, playground & pavilion. Plentiful + free parking. Perfect for families vacationing, visiting relatives or participating in Ironman/Athletic competitions or work remotely with the fastest residential internet - The Gig!

Entrance to the home is through the front door equipped with door code lock. On street parking is free of charge. For parking, we ask our guests to not park in the driveway nor behind the home as it is a shared driveway. Please park either directly in front & along the chain link fence or across the street.

Behind the house there are train tracks. Trains come though night and day. The trains can sometimes be heard or sometimes they will clank together or squeak. To help with this, we have white noise machines beside all the beds, fans in front & back bedrooms and extra pillows. The sound machines work well and guests report they drown out any noises so you can sleep without interruption. There are two settings on the white noise machines (high and low). I have also provided complimentary single use ear plugs.

This is a lovely house to stay in. Often rental houses can be sparse and sterile as if the guests can’t be trusted to take care. This home felt thoughtfully designed and outfitted. Good artwork, nice interior and furnishing choices, and small but important touches like full length mirrors in the master bedroom and a magnifying mirror in the bathroom made it not just livable but enjoyable to stay in. Before arriving, I was concerned that the living room might not have enough comfortable seating, but that was not the case- plenty of comfort and a couch large and soft enough to sleep well on if needed.The hosts were very responsive, kind, and hospitable. We will definitely stay here again.

This home could not have been more perfect for our long weekend in Chattanooga. The kitchen and bedrooms had everything we could need for our kids, as well as the adults. It’s in the perfect location to explore the city, with a comfortable layout to watch football at the end of the day. The only thing we needed to bring was a baby gate for the steps. We had a wonderful stay at this property and would absolutely recommend it. The location is fantastic and very walkable, and it is situated right in front of a great park, which was perfect for our family and especially fun for our little one.The space itself is open, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with decor that feels both stylish and welcoming. One of our favorite unexpected highlights was the train going by. We actually loved it, and so did our 14-month-old. It added so much character and charm to the stay.We were not bothered by the sound at all and slept great each night. That said, if you are a very light sleeper or used to complete quiet, the hosts have you covered with sound machines and ear plugs, which was a nice touch.Overall, a lovely space in a great location. We would happily stay here again.
