Historic Townhouse in Incredible Location w/ Parking by Lucky Savannah

Located on one of Savannah's oldest streets, lined up amongst expansive, rich, historic mansions this bright and stately townhouse is able to accommodate up to six Lucky guests.

The second level entrance brings you into the parlor level, which has a multitude of rich wood architectural details, including original hardwood floors, floor to ceiling windows, and ornate decorative fireplaces. On this floor you’ll find the main gathering room, with a large flatscreen television, which is open to the formal dining room, ideal for entertaining. At the back of the home, you'll find the fully renovated kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and fully equipped with everything needed to prepare home-cooked meals.

Upstairs you’ll find the two bedrooms and a private sitting deck that overlooks the treelined courtyard. The primary suite is furnished with a tasteful mix of antique furniture, a four post king-size bed, and luxurious ensuite bath with a marble tiled shower and large soaking tub. The second bedroom also features a king size bed, with an ample amount of space to store all of your belongings. Just off of the hall, the full bathroom has a tub/shower combo, and plenty of counter space to get ready for an evening out.

This home is ideally located within a short walk to many of Savannah’s historic points-of-interest and incredible selection of dining options. You’ll be well situated to explore Savannah’s rich history with the Owens Thomas House and the Davenport House Museum both just a block away.

This unit has one private parking space behind the home. All additional parking can be found on-street, and is metered which is enforced by the City of Savannah Monday through Saturday from 8am to 8pm. Perfect location to walk the historic district and park your car without the hassle of finding and paying for parking. Close to a cemetary to give you that haunted feel. Interior was decorated in exemplary fashion that made you feel the historic vibe. Perfect amount of room for the 5 adult females in our party. First night we were missing bed sheets for the sleeper sofa and the host delivered the next day as promised. Will definitely stay here when we travel here again.

Charming Stay with One Important Caveat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Full of period charm, spacious, and clean. However, if you have allergies or sensitivities to musty odors or mold, this may not be the best place to stay. Otherwise, it is a lovely place with plenty of character and was an enjoyable stay.

Location was great with easy walk to pretty much every where from St John's Basilica to the Riverwalk. So many restaurants on Broughton only a few short blocks away. Parking spot was perfect so that we could head to Tybee, Bonaventure Cemetery or dinner wearing high heels and come back to a reserved spot and not have to pay for street parking. The place could use some refresh like full painting as the patch jobs are obvious. Along with a few other improvements. But did love the historical feel and decor. The cute courtyard was nice with the fountain. Will keep this in mind for the next visit.

Beautiful city, great place to stay

Only thing I would change is there needed to be a footstool for one of the beds! It was hard to get into as it was very high, and I’m not a short person!

This was a lovely historic space that was right in the heart of the historic district and would have made for a great visit if we hadn't had a toddler with us. Not a great spot for small children but would otherwise recommend! Clean. Well equipped. Close to everything.

The construction wasn’t an issue at all. The location was absolutely perfect! Parking was nice but we didn’t drive at all the entire stay because the location was so great. The place is clean. I didn’t notice though the bottom level is a separate rental but that’s my fault. The front door could use some love and we reported a shower leak going through to downstairs and nobody ever showed to our knowledge. It was a nice stay and had everything we needed.

Overall was great. Lock on gate did not work. There was a broken window in kitchen with cardboard covering, would have been good to get a heads up on that. The construction next door was not an issue at all. Lots of stairs so as long as you know up front, should not be an issue. We knew and were fine. Nice to have a parking spot onsite.

The house was beautiful! It was clean and well appointed.The construction outside and lack of maintenance on the courtyard in back was sad. We did enjoy it overall and would def reserve it again. Also, there is a smaller unit downstairs that was part of the original house. I would get that next time as well to have 3 real bedrooms.
