The Space:

Looking for an affordable townhome rental at a Luxury resort? The Sandbar Townhome #41 at Legacy Beach Resort is exactly what you need. This townhome is located right along the Garden City bike and walking path. Ride your bike or take a quick stroll into the downtown area of Garden City. You’re a 5 minute walk to the Garden City Park or a 10 minute walk to the Garden City Pond which is a great place for kids to fish. There is a kids splash pad and outdoor pickle ball court located near by or just walk across the street to the Legacy Beach clubhouse which includes access to a swimming pool (seasonal), year-round hot tub, and a 24-hour gym.



During the winter months bundle up and head to the Beaver Mountain ski resort located just 15 minutes from town. Along with endless hills and trails for snowmobiling, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. No matter the season there is always something to do and enjoy here in Bear Lake!

Bear Lake in July

The property is nice and centrally located. Good for a family get together. We liked that it was right next to the pool and there was a pickleball court that was close.

Busy street - Overall Nice Home

From the listing it makes it sound like it is in the actual gated property of Legacy Beach. The frustrating part was once we got the address it was across the main street in Garden City. If you want to access the clubhouse you had to cross the street each time with no crosswalk nearby. The beach was less desirable at Legacy Beach (lots of big bugs and not much of a beach). The house itself was nice. Plenty of space to hang out and play games. The garage was to small to park our small SUV in, so it had to sit in the elements which was annoying but not a major factor in the property. Overall this was a good home to stay in. Not sure we would stay again unless the city can help Legacy Resort figure out a solution on the busy street and access to the amenities.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your stay. The description online does mention that the pool, beach and clubhouse are across the street but I could probably make that a little more noticeable. So thank you for that suggestion. I too really wish that the State would add a cross walk to cross the highway, we, along with the City, have even approached them about it and they are unwilling to do anything about it at this point. I do apologize that the beach did not live up to your expectations. Each summer is different on what the water levels do. The last 2 years the beach has been great because the water was low and guests we able to drive right down by the water and there was plenty of nice sandy area exposed for all to enjoy. This year with the water being a lot higher it did bring it up into the muddy, swampy area and it definitely was less desirable. It it is tough to predict what it is going to do and I wish I could control the water levels and always have it at the perfect height so that it is always a great and enjoyable beach. Just as an FYI, There is a new pool going in over by the Townhomes that should be completed and open for next summer. That will help limit the amount of times you would have to cross the street to go to the pool on that side. Thanks, Management @ Legacy Beach Resort
