Bryson Village's location cannot be beat. Located right outside of downtown Bryson City, but within the city limits, Bryson City's amenities are right there to enjoy. There are several local restaurants to try, along with craft breweries and boutique/local shops. You of course can also take a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, which is famous for the Polar Express ride and the Great Pumpkin Patch Express. If you're interested in more outdoor entertainment, you can take a ride over to the Deep Creek entrance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and enjoy the hiking trails, waterfalls, fishing, tubing, bike riding, or picnic areas. If you're looking to learn more about the area's deep roots and cultural history, take a 15-minute ride over to the Cherokee Reservation and check out the Museum of the Cherokee Indian, Unto These Hills drama, campfire tales in the summertime, the Oconaluftee Village, and the Pioneer Village. If you're looking for nightlife, you can also check out Harrah's Cherokee Casino. For adrenaline pumping outdoor adventure, make sure to check out the Nantahala Gorge area which is known for it's whitewater rafting, kayaking, zip line canopy tours, horseback riding, and hiking.
