Get ready for the ultimate retreat at one of the best sun-facing lots on Lake Alice - a serene, non-motorized boating lake that's fantastic for swimming, fishing, and other watersports. Located just 27 miles east of downtown Seattle, this secluded vacation rental sits close to two golf courses, Fall City river tubing, wineries and breweries, and phenomenal hiking trails, so you'll always have something fun and exciting to do while you're here. This property boasts 100 feet of private waterfront, two separate cabins (including the first to be built on Lake Alice), an extra-large and furnished deck at the water's edge, two docks, and a variety of other desirable amenities both inside and out.

This separate cottage - one of two on the property - includes a well-equipped island kitchen with stainless steel appliances, counter seating, and fun extras like a French press, tea kettle, baking supplies, and s'mores sticks for evening fun. Indulge in the dining area with a mid-century modern table and chairs. There's also a comfortable living area with a sofa and a TV for streaming your favorite channels.

Outdoors, the fun begins with a yard dressed in café lights, a lakeside deck with a propane fire table, a new gas grill, a relaxing hammock for lazy afternoons or late-night stargazing, and two docks for fishing, swimming, or launching one of the four shared kayaks or pedal boat provided. You'll also have access to outdoor Bluetooth stereo speakers, perfect for entertaining your friends, plus you'll love the incredible lake views from this specific corner of the lake.

Nice enough but nothing to write home about.
I would equate this property to like a cute pair of shoes that you simply must have but wearing them for any length of time is not all that comfortable. The house is clean, updated, and provides most necessary things for your stay. It is on the small side so I can't imagine more than two people staying there. My biggest issue was the shared things outside...there are two homes available to rent on the same property. It is clearly stated in the description but actually "living" it is awkward, at best. The BBQ grill is not close to either property. Plus, who wants to see if it has or will be used by your neighbors, much less cross your fingers it was cleaned. Knowing this, we purchased a small table top grill to use. It was $150 from Costco and a very small expense for the owners to provide this convenience for their renters. Also, the kayaks, paddleboat, and inflatable canoe are all shared. Again, I didn't want to arrange my time around strangers. This may not bother some but it is not how we wanted to spend our vacation, worrying about infringing on other's or visa versa. This is stated in the description and yes, we rented it anyway but the reality of this prohibits us from renting this property again. The house is nice, the lake is beautiful, it is clean and well appointed....it may be your cup of tea. For us, not so much. If it is hot, there are no fans so bring your own. There is also a drip coffeemaker; the description says there is only a French Press.

Charming & Quiet
We had a lovely, relaxing weekend at this cottage. The water was calm and peaceful. While the weather was chilly, it couldn't take away from the beautiful scenery. Heating was excellent for when we got too cold. The outdoor lighting, and hidden speakers really rounded out the experience for us. The location is perfect. Secluded as if you're somewhere in the Cascades, but close to town for getting groceries and coffee. I can't wait to stay here again!

Lovely and peaceful
We were charmed by the cabin and landscaping and spent the majority of our time on the deck with the fire pit. The kayaks were perfect for a jaunt around the little lake. The neighbors were quiet and had lovely homes.
