The property was just as described and a very nice space. It seemed larger than other options and I liked that the bedroom had a window. Everything seemed nice and clean and the hosts communicated quickly when we had questions. Thanks for a great stay!
The condo was clean and well appointed. Check-in was a breeze, and Tim & Mari were great hosts! They checked on us periodically and were very responsive to any inquiry we had. Highly recommend!
Room was lovely - exactly as described, and very well taken care of. The hosts were absolutely fantastic in terms of communication and everything went perfectly. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
I immensely appreciated how quickly the host replied to my questions and concerns. The property was great, updated in such an efficient way, with space saving in mind. Everything was very clean. Best experience I’ve had renting at Silver Creek in a long time.
Great place to stay for Silver Creek / Snowshoe ski resort
Stayed 3 nights. It was a great place to stay for our ski trip. Parking was in front of the building and convenient. Shuttle between Silver Creek and Snowshoe was convenient. Night skiing was unique to Silver Creek. Would stay again.
Exactly like the pictures. Very clean and classy and a great peaceful getaway in summer. Locker Room sports bar just downstairs with great food and service.
Would love to go back!!
Cozy condo had everything we needed to have a great time. Maiden voyage on the new washer and dryer was epic! Perfect location for staying with young kids. Silver Creek slopes were less crowded in the best way.
It would be a great place for skiers since you can basically ski in and out of the condo. It was a lot of walking and driving up and down the mountain to do anything but having the Locker Room bar and restaurant was awesome. The ski village was close and nice to be able to look around as most places were closed till the snow season .
Location, price, easy check in, communication with owners were all more than I expected not to mention the amazing views. We took our motorcycles so we could tour the nationally recognized scenic highways and we were not disappointed. We will be back!!😁

Todd, it's always a pleasure to host top-notch Guests such as yourself. We're delighted you had an enjoyable experience and EDH Rentals welcomes you back anytime. Until next time!
This place was mostly clean but smelly. The sheets were stained with black spots but I could tell they were washed. We noticed it was pretty run down like the door barely shut from damage or warping, the carpet was torn, baseboard was missing, and everything was old and worn. Unfortunately they had issues with hot water, the host was responsive and offered to send maintenance but it was late and we were tired so we declined. The whole building seemed to be in the same condition so this may be typical for the older buildings in the area. We enjoyed the trails for hiking and liked being able to walk to them.

Kari,
We apologize if you detected an odor in the property; we'll look into that to see if we can figure out what you're talking about. Our linens are always professionally laundered, but we'll look into why the ones you had may have been discolored.
We learned after your departure that the hot water heater was turned off at the breaker box, so we're not sure how that happened, but it as been addressed. We were unaware of the issues with the carpet, door, and baseboards, but we'll get those resolved right away. Glad to hear you enjoyed the trails, though!

We stayed over the past weekend. Room was ready early which was nice. The door is extremely difficult to close I had to slam each time to ensure the door was latched, i felt bad for the neighbors each time we left the property. The walls are thin and you can hear conversations from the unit next to the bedroom. We used the pool but there were no passes but thankfully the pool attendant didn’t give us too much trouble. The unit was clean. I accidentally forgot to run the dishwasher and didn’t see the checkout instructions until we were down the mountain. We have an electric car so it was nice to be able to charge just make sure to bring an adapter If you have a Tesla. Overall an okay place to stay.
Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay at Silver Creek and are already planning to come back next year! Mari and Tim are fantastic hosts and I was blown away by their exceptional communication. We had a very minor issue upon arrival and again right before we left, but they sent maintenance within 30 minutes to take care of it! My young kids loved the pool, outdoor hot tub, the Bear’s Den, and being near the tubing park. FYI- there is a picture on the listing that shows a pool with a slide that we thought was at Silver Creek but it’s actually in the Snowshoe village area. The kitchen is very small with a mini fridge/freezer so we only ate breakfast and maybe 2 other meals in the condo. We were thankful to have a washer and dryer in the unit to do our laundry before we left. Overall we had a 5 star experience and it met all of our needs for a short 3 night stay!
It was ok, just be prepared to clean up after yourself
I'll be honest, it was not a bad place to stay. Yes the hotel was a little utilitarian, especially the hallways, the room was decent for early 2000s decorations. When air conditioning was listed as an amenity I didn't think that meant a portacool unit that I had to pull out of a closet and set up. I've been in hotels from Hawaii, to Canada, America, and Europe. I've never once been threatened with a fine if I didn't take out my own trash and put everything back to the way it was before I left, here I was. Not having to clean up after myself is one of the things I like about staying in a hotel, any other hotel up to this point. If you do stay here, just be prepared to put everything back to the way it was or there will be a fine for any broken rules. Would I stay here again? Probably not. I think I would just pick another place that didn't require me to clean up after myself while on vacation.

I'm sorry to see this poor review, especially after we allowed this Guest to check in two hours early, and were quick to respond to the difficulty this Guest had figuring out how to use the Wi-Fi.
The air conditioning is very clearly listed in the VRBO ad as "Standalone AC unit (only available for the summer/ mountain biking season)," so that information is available in advance to anyone who reads the ad site.
Even so, had we known the Guest wanted to use the air conditioner out of season, when the temperature never got above 63 degrees during his stay, we'd have been happy to come down to reinstall the AC unit for him, as we go out of our way to cater to the reasonable needs of our Guests.
Our request that departing Guests load and run the dishwasher is in place to allow the cleaners to fully prep the property for incoming Guests, by only needing to unload the clean dishes. Most Guests have the courtesy to do this without being told, but we do offer a gentle reminder nonetheless.
There was no request that the Guest put everything back the way he found it. There is no request for Guests to sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, launder their linens, or anything of the sort.
The "threat" of a fine is in place for those Guests who feel entitled to leave properties in complete disarray, with trash and mud strewn throughout, as there is grounds to assess a fine in rare and extreme situations like that.
