The property was as listed. Plenty of sleeping space and a great open concept for a large group gathering. Being close to the lighthouse made for a nice walk. Downtown has some nice shops and restaurants.
Let me start off with how peaceful it was in the morning just sitting at the dining table facing the front sliding doors where the scenery was of a little lake across the street. We decided to book this house for Mother's day to enjoy a weekend away from the city life and it was perfect. The men in our family enjoyed the pool table, my grandfather was able to watch TV from the living room while the ladies enjoyed drinks in the kitchen area and still feeling like we were all in the same room. We loved having the choice of sitting in front of the house watching the neighbors drive by or sitting in the back where it felt completely private.
The location of the house was just 6mins drive away from the nearest supermarket which we visited twice, 3mins drive from the Diner, and 4mins away from stores and restaurants. A super plus to also have the lighthouse just minutes away but I have to say that it was some walk if you never been there.
I found the house to be perfect, fully equipped and just as pictured but I was a little disappointed when my son when to sleep on the bunker bed and the top bed had crumbs (Crackers) which means the sheet were not changed. My son ended up sleeping on the upstairs couch that was located outside my upstairs bedroom.
Other then that, the experience was wonderful. I will return in the Fall.
