Family Vacation

W loved everything about our stay. The home was clean, and was inviting. We would love to stay again next year. It also helps that the neighbor who lives next door, was incredibly kind. All in all, no complaints!

This was a last minute booking and being pet-friendly was a must, so I wasn't looking for or expecting perfection. The pictures are VERY deceiving...it was filthy!! The home has not been well cared for at all and it looked like the only people who had rented were college kids that threw major parties. The carpet was disgusting (to the point of instructing the kids to never walk around barefoot), multiple cracks/holes in the drywall and ceiling, black scum outlining the shower tile, paint scuffed off and peeling multiple places, and the icing on the cake was a dead roach in the kitchen. The saddest part is that the house has so much potential if someone was paying attention and fixing things along the way. Even new carpet and a fresh coat of paint would instantly improve the home 50%. I have never had a bad experience with VRBO nor am I the type to write poor reviews, but our stay was so subpar I would feel bad not saying something and letting another family have the same disappointing experience that we had.

Patience needed with appliances

Perfect place for our family of 12. The kids aged 11-22 loved walking out the door to the tennis basketball and volleyball courts. Beach was a super easy walk. We enjoyed Thanksgiving week here but had to plan enough time to allow for oven to take over 30 minutes to get to 350 degrees. Dishwasher also had quirks. But so many dishes were fabulous- many large bowls. Frying pans, but no 9x 13 which surprised me. I also found it weird to purchase our own toilet paper, soap, salt and pepper, spices condiments… I also would have loved a few folding chairs but there were benches and we made it work no problem. It was exceptionally cold in FL when we arrived and home temp was 39 degrees and it took overnight to warm up but after that first night temps were fine. Fire alarm battery needed changing- and lint in dryer had to be cleaned out before use

You should have gotten an email prior to your stay letting you know that we provide starters of bathroom and kitchen essentials so you should plan to bring these items with you or purchase them once you get here. We are sorry it took so long for the unit to warm up in the midst of a cold snap but are glad you were able to get comfortable.
